Sail With Scott
Seawolf was hand built in Rockwall over the course of 2 years, from 2006 to 2008. The construction team consisted of 5+ experts and workers putting in 40+ hr weeks for that period of time. The Self family will carry forward the legacy he built and the love he shared of sailing on Lake Ray Hubbard. At the end of a four-hour watch, eight bells were sounded and the sailor on watch was relieved.

Tradition in the sailing community is to note the passing of a shipmate with the signaling of eight bells. The sounding of a ship's bell is a reminder of the special bonds mariners forge among one another. Captain Amy Lee Pierce is now operating Seawolf with the same ardent love of the lake. She worked under Captain Scott's tutelage for several years and enjoyed adventures in the Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific Ocean from Panama to Los Angeles.
Services
There's nothing quite as romantic as a cruise on the lake under the glow of the moonlight. Take a break from the noise of everyday and spend a little time with your sweetie on the lake. Sailing at 9 p.m., this moonlight cruise offers both the glow of the finishing sunset and the night moon. It's the best date night in Dallas!
Seawolf is a 40 foot long by 25 foot wide sailing catamaran built of beautiful Spanish cedar. Seawolf 's season is from April to October. Seawolf sails out of the Harbor on the eastern shore of Lake Ray Hubbard, the best sailing waters of the Dallas area. For a cruise, Seawolf is docked at the lighthouse on the waterside of the Hilton Hotel in Rockwall.

The four of us thoroughly enjoyed our sunset cruise on Lake Ray Hubbard aboard the Seawolf. The crew were wonderful, very helpful with taking pictures. Highly recommend. Only thing we would have changed is for the music to be not as loud. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

The captain and her help Russ were very pleasant. The sail was slow, steady, & wonderful. You can take pic holding the boats steering wheel. Me and my party enjoyed ourselves! It's also BYOB!

This is our favorite thing to do with out of town guests. It's so relaxing and beautiful. The views are gorgeous and I love watching folks come out of their shell and smile in shared happiness at total strangers. The crew is awesome as well and they play fun music. The Seawolf leaves port on time so give yourself plenty of time to park and walk down. Definitely reserve your spot ahead of time as I've seen sad folks being left at the dock because there wasn't enough room. They provide bottled water as well which I always forget about and bring my own lol.

Moonlight / Starlight Cruise - BYOB and Food / Labor Day Firework Show
I’ve lived in the area for years and have always wondered about the Lake Ray Hubbard catamaran cruise.
Well finally took the cruise and entirely enjoyed the experience!
Too bad the wind wasn’t a little stronger to allow the captain to turn off the engines.
The fireworks are very different to see from the on the water.
Highly recommend taking your out of town visitors on the Seawolf.

Moonlight cruise on Lake Ray Hubbard aboard the Seawolf is simply great! We timed our night as close to the full moon as we could. Easy to book, easy to find, easy to park near the Rockwall Harbor. They give you detailed instructions and suggestions for a great sail. We did pack a light meal and a bottle of wine to enjoy over the hour tour. The Captain and first mate were efficient, professional and engaging. We will be back!

This is the BEST outing! A beautiful catamaran sailboat with amazing staff, sunset cruise on Lake Ray Hubbard. We went with our family and took a picnic dinner and wine. It was perfect. The captain played a great sailing-themed playlist and let people steer the boat. The kids had a blast - although I will say next time we will not bring our kids. They're allowed, but the crowd was more adult for sure. There will definitely be a next time though!!

Amazing experience. Friendly staff. The captain was very experienced, friendly, and kind. Our evening was fantastic. BYOB and food makes it a great experience because you can bring what you want to drink and eat on the trip. We made newfriends and experiences. It was a great value and an evening we won't soon forget. Well done.

Charged us full price for a 10 month old baby, last minute as we were boarding. Shady, wouldn't recommend.

Pure relaxing 1.5 hours of water therapy. The music was fitting for the boat ride; makes you think of a party on the lake. Our captains showed great hospitality. Will definitely do this again.

Reading the response to my review I see that Billy Self the owner of , Sail with Scott responded. To be clear, this is about wheelchair accessibility!
The boat is not wheelchair accessible! It is also about a persons dignity and having access to every opportunity just like an ambulatory person does.

We did the Father's Day family cruise for 1 hour and it was perfect. We took the kids and went with another family friends of ours and had a great time.

The kids got to stir the boat. We got to bring a cooler with our own drinks. They provided water bottles. It was nice and relaxing. 1 hour was the perfect amount with the little kids.

My husband and I had a great time sailing the sunset cruise for our 9 year anniversary. The crew was friendly, and it was such a nice and relaxing time. We missed the boat a few weeks ago, do to traffic. I called and was able to reschedule without any problems. I was so pleased with the entire process and sail. I can not wait to come back and do it again soon.

Nice vibes, beautiful area. But I guess. Didn't realize it would be a huge group affair. I'm not surprised tho it def saves money for the company to do so. I would do it again with Scott in a one on one session because we didn't have anywhere to sit due to the capacity they booked the ship

Truly, it was an hour and a half of sheer boredom. I loved the people I was with, but the experience itself was just dismal. Overpriced ($40) and overcrowded, there was little room to do much other than squish around a too-small table and sit on hard wooden benches. There are NO amenities on board, so be prepared to drag everything you need with you. It wasn't even relaxing because you couldn't see much of the lake other than straight ahead, anyway. With people lining every railing, you catch the occasional glimpse of the water between people.

I have no idea why it's ranking

My husband suprised me with a sunset cruise, everyone was really nice, the girl helping the captain was wonderful. The captain was great too! I would recommend taking something soft to sit on, they have beanbags up front but all else is wood. They had a drone flying and taking video and pictures, we bought one for 5.00. Turned out great! Wonderful time

Took my 5-year old daughter out for a sunset cruise... and we had a terrific time.

The crew was extremely kind and the cruise was beautiful. Scott was super nice and I think my daughter won't stop talking about how she got to drive the boat for another month or two.

Made some beautiful memories on this trip, and will probably do it again someday.

Beautiful catamaran. Perfect having a captain who loves his vessel and job. Great scenery and lakeside properties with a pretty sunset view. Good ambience music overall. Friendly with the kids, helped them all get fun views and take a turn at the captain's wheel. Would be fun to go back without children for a more romantic spin, too!

I surprised my family with an afternoon sail with Scott and we weren't disappointed. Scott is kind, welcoming and makes the trip so enjoyable. The boat is clean and comfy. Don't forget snacks and your drinks! We made ourselves at home and relaxed in the water. Our daughters enjoyed taking turns at the helm. We'll be back, but for a sunset cruise!

This make for an amazing date night. It is byob and you can bring food! The music is a perfect blend of nautical/vacation/sunset tunes. Such a bargain for something that left me feeling as if I was on a vacation. The only bummer is everything is advertised as $30 per person but we were charged $40! Still worth every penny.
