Soap (or detergent) and water are used to physically remove germs from surfaces which reduces the risk of spreading infection. Chemicals and extreme heat are used to kill germs on surfaces or objects which reduces the risk of spreading infection.

Our three-step process sets us apart from the competition: first we thoroughly clean the space with standard cleaning products. Next, we perform a hot steam treatment. Finally, using our patented technology, we use an intense UV light to eliminate any hardy remaining germs on the surfaces. Started as a small family business, UVGermX has grown by bringing in experienced cleaners and training them with our special tools.
Hot Steam - Disinfecting kills 99.9% of germs and bacteria at a heat intensity of 212 degrees in seconds. Our steamers get up to 360 degrees. UV Light - The exposure of germicidal ultra violet is the product of time and intensity. The average bacterium will be killed in ten seconds at a distance of 6 inches from the lamp.
