Chris Greer came to my residential property that has a difficult sloping backyard and needed a stone fence plus design for a pool and functional yard area. He provided superb advice that stressed practicality, great design, and cost effectiveness. It was obvious that he was there to solve problems not just to try to sell more services, plants or trees. Like the other complaints associated with this company, my experience was similar...they came out said they'd send me a proposal and never followed-up. I called, left messages, spoke to someone a couple of times and was told how busy they were but would get to me within the next few days. After a 3rd attempt and 6 weeks later, I gave up and figured it was probably for the best. Like most wise folks will tell you, if you have that much trouble with a company honoring their word before you pay them any significant amount, consider it a blessing or lesson -- shop elsewhere.

I contracted Saylee Greer to do a large landscaping project in June 2018. They did a fantastic job, looked great, roses bloomed, everything was perfect. Then we had the long rain season that lasted till spring 2019. That is when I noticed that weeds took over every bed and you couldn't see the plants. Short story, I called Chris and asked him to look at my landscaping. We found out that plastic liner was never laid down and the river rocks didn't channel the water correctly. Chris agreed and took steps to correct the problem at no additional cost to me. They do fantastic landscaping, they are friendly

Beware of this company. We spent over 50k on a job that he will not warranty because he claims we didn't pay for 1500 of low-quality materials. The lighting he claimed was top-notch has also failed. Though the founder, Chris Greer, will promise success, his "CFO", Cedar, will nickel and dime you every step of the way, blaming you for the failures of her own family's ineptitude. This is a flimsy operation we are ashamed to say we supported.

I was referred to Saylee Greer landscaping through a colleague of mine who had recently has work done and it came out beautiful. Cedar has exceptional customer service they were punctual went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure my project was completed in a timely manner. I was working on with a short time frame and they assured me it would be done AND IT WAS with days to spare. I highly recommend this company what an outstanding job 😀

They do not stand behind their guarantee. In September 18’, they replaced over a pallet of sod in my back yard. They did not level the yard before laying the sod, so ground very uneven to walk on. Grass was green till February and then died. Their operations manager came out, looked at the yard and told me i had chinch bugs. I have a hard time believing that chinch bugs did all the damage. If it was chinch bugs, they came with the sod. They have a one year guarantee, but they are not honoring it.

From December 2015 through April 2018, I retained the services of John's Landscaping which morphed into Saylee Greer. I spent over $69,000 for a variety of projects ranging from installing a flagstone patio and deck to extensive landscaping that included 20 red tip trees, 9 xylosma trees, and 2 red cypress tree. All went very well at first. Then there were constant problems that were substantially addressed. Finally, once the company had morphed into Saylee Greer, it was a complete disaster. Chris failed to fully honor warranties on several of the red tips that died. Trees that had died

We have worked with Chris three times now for different areas of our yard. He is always easy to schedule with, right on time, and SO HELPFUL. Our front yard design was beautiful- layered with different materials, native plants with lots of color, and consideration for the existing landscape of our house. He was very knowledgeable about local plants (thanks to him, we finally know what species all our trees are), and he involved us in the design process, taking into account our preferences and how we plan to use the space. We worked with Chris for almost three years on a major backyard renovation including regrading the entire backyard, replacing a concrete patio with brick, and installing a tiny house. The work that was done was done well--his crew is very hardworking--but there were delays. There were many times when we were told a crew would be showing up only to go long periods without a crew and no reason given. We were satisfied with the final product, and wish it had been completed in a more timely manner. (Cross-posted from Facebook.)

I want to thank John as he restored my dog trampled and tenant neglected landscape back to her original dimensions ... I was heart broken to Deploy and find that my tenants had destroyed my landscape.. but one quick call to John and he came out and assessed the damage.
Within days of my return my Beautiful yard was returned to her grandeur and I'm… back to sipping mimosas on the slate porch he installed a few years ago.. thanking him for Restoring my gravel.. mulch and giving my babies a good trim...
