After working as an independent contractor at the original practice at this location, Dr. Dolphus Thacker saw that the once-struggling practice began to thrive. We desire to treat patients of every age-newborns to seniors. We know that chiropractic care promotes nervous system health and overall health.
Dr. Thacker was born in Carmel, California. His father was stationed there while serving in the United States Marine Corps. His family later returned to Graham, North Carolina where Dr. Thacker's parents were born and raised. After seeking a degree in criminal justice from Appalachian State University, Dr. Thacker enlisted as a third generation United States Marine.

Did you know that, by correcting a subluxation, the nervous system can function at its optimum and the body can heal itself? We look to find subluxations (a bone that's not moving the way it's supposed to) that are potentially creating a problem. If you're expressing a symptom, then we look to find what is the subluxation that could be creating those symptoms.
While pregnancy is considered an exciting time in a woman's life, it also is associated with numerous aches and pains. That's why we are happy to offer women safe and drug-free chiropractic care for every stage of pregnancy. Dr. Thacker has a long history of caring for pregnant patients. Before he became a chiropractor, he was a neonatal nurse.

Well, I have learned that having chiropractic care as part of your health maintenance is a must. My decision to visit Dr. Thacker office was no mistake. Kelsey at the front desk is the best. She is so nice and friendly. She will make you feel right at home. If the mints are getting low, she will make sure you get one before you leave. What brought me to Dr. Thacker's office was pain in my neck, low back and my ankle that I sprained, which has been swollen and sore for the last 9 months. Dr. Thacker has and is making a great impact on my health and quality of life. From the initial appointment, he starts with a complex and thorough overview of everything. After an accident, my husband and I had to seek chiropractic care and I being a very anxious person was very hesitant to come inn. We are happy we found Dr. Thacker, appointments were easy to schedule and had openings quick. He is very patient and as I am a very anxious person, he took the time to explain everything he was doing. I feel very comfortable coming to his office and feel a lot better after every session.
