Zack Woods Herb Farm is a dream that we've been cultivating for the last 21 years and, like any good dream, it is taking us on a beautiful and worthwhile journey. We began our farm with two clear missions and they continue to be our guiding principles today. Our first priority is to be good stewards of the land: to not only protect the medicinal plants that we cherish, and the water and soil that nourishes them, but also to help them flourish.
Our second commitment is to strive to produce the highest quality live, fresh, and dried botanicals and herb teas for our local community and beyond. Quality and integrity are our guiding principles. These principles guide our work and all that we do here on the farm. Over the years we have worked collaboratively with some of the finest herbalists, farmers, and researchers from around the world.

We start by feeding minerals and organic matter to our soils to provide the plants with the proper nutrients. All of the harvesting is done at the peak of potency. Herbs are then dried immediately in our batch-dryer where light, humidity, and temperature levels are carefully monitored to ensure maximum constituent levels.
ZWHF offers wholesale pricing and volume discounts for customers purchasing large quantities of herbs. Businesses and individuals can qualify for a wholesale account if they are reselling the herbs or are using the herbs in clinical practice or to make products for resale. There is a requirement of a 5 pound minimum per order.
Finally, a book to recommend to the increasing number of organic farmers who are looking to grow medicinal herb crops. This inspiring handbook provides the quality and depth of information that only comes from years of first-hand experience.

Zack Woods Herb Farm is a working farm-not a retail establishment-we work as hard as we can to provide beautiful herbs for you! While we do encourage people to visit us to tour the fields and gardens, all visits need to be scheduled and confirmed in advance. We cannot accommodate "drop-ins" because we are rarely able to take breaks from the work in order to greet and show people around.
