Ms. Blackburn oversees the operation of Monticello Asset Management, Inc., and also serves as the company's Chief Financial Officer. In this dual capacity, she is responsible for client/investor relations, strategic planning, as well as partnership finance and accounting. Ms. Blackburn, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), joined the company in 2000 and has over twenty years of experience.

I lived here in 2017-18 and got evicted for slow rent (our fault for medical reasons). We ended up owing $4,000+ and it went to our credit, of course. I called to pay it and was told by a person in management to pay it through the online system, which she gave me access to. The only problem is, they NEVER reported the payment to the credit agency or the debt collections agency. I went in to the office and got a receipt printed, but due to the fact that it says for deposit and fees, the collections agency won't remove it as paid and no one, not even the collections company can get in touch with

If I could have given NO STARS I would’ve! This place is past horrible! They discriminate and retaliate against residents. They lie on you, and try to rob working people for money. They never call you back or answer the phone. The only reason I believe I finally got a call back was because I stated on the voicemail I would be taking legal action. STAY FAR AWAY FROM MONTICELLO AND ANYTHING THAT DEALS WITH THEM!!! This company is a total joke. At a time in our society where people don't care about each other as we have been commanded to, let alone companies and those who represent them. I have to post this review about a wonderful and blessed experience I had with Jodie, Regional Manager of Monticello Assets, LLC.
I contacted Jodie about an extremely important situation that could have adversely effected my finances.
Jodie returned my call and listened with compassion. She didn't respond with an attitude of; this decision is etched in stone and there is nothing that can be done. She referred me to the necessary manager and assistant

Don't move to any place this company owns. They care about quantity not quality. The management and assistant managment and allowed to get away with murder at their Sherman Texas properties river ranch and castle Hill. It's just bad. A lady named sue rrich claims to own the properties and she is a racist biggot of a joke. BBB Report here I come for sure. I Might even consider contacting a new group.

Definitely look at the properties that they own and don't move to them. I live at one of their properties in Sherman Texas and the management here is a joke. The only good thing about about castle Hill apartments is the maintenance man he is always helpful, but thats about it. They are discriminating. The cops are out here all the time. The I'mmanagement is on a lame power Trip. just Rude women. They only care about what's in their pocket not the quality of their staff or the interest of their residents. Also the apartments have roaches and ants.

Had an issue with me being told one thing communicated by office staff... but in reality found out it was the total opposite- putting me in a financial bind. Spoke with someone of authority at this management company and she was rude and unapologetic for her staff relaying false information and unwilling to work anything out because of it! She literally said she had to speak with her staff to see if she really told me what I said she told me.. and of course- Im the liar and no one ever said what I informed.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. In fact, this "Management Company" shouldn't have any stars. However, my father and his girlfriend at the time supposedly lived in Ridgeway Village apartments in Midlothian, TX about 7 years ago. My name was forged on this lease application. In 2016 I get a call from a collection agency called ProCollect Inc. This collection agency called everyone from my job, family members, to my spouse DEMANDING money, or they could take me to civil court.

If you are black say away from this apartment management is racist. They call the police on all the tenant they talk to you any kind of way . They are nice till you lease from them . The neighbors all complain about the management . The husband from one of the managers looks through people windows . This is true , an one of the tenants told me she caught him looking . I am white an I say to black people stay away . I have seen management be rude to blacks an nice to white . Dont complain to corporate because they dont care . They will probably lie an say this is not true but trust me it is not

Worst worst worst experience ever!!!! So my fiancé applied 1 week ago and they are just now getting back to him and they told him he's getting denied because they know he's with me like wth I am not a criminal I always paid my rent on time never bothered anyone. I do owe them money I was struggling lost my job I lost my apt I didn't know what to do and to top it off they are over charging me on what I owe they are charging me almost 2000 when rent was 775 . So now here we are struggling to find a apartment because these people want to act like I'm a damn criminal. My fiance will file fair housing

Do not lease any of these properties. Not only are the apartments bad, dealing with this company is a waste of your time. After paying a previous lease 6 months in advance, once we moved they kept our deposit and told us we over them almost $500 more dollars. We've been trying to pay this unknown debt for months now, and they never answer the phone. The one time they did the woman we spoke to was extremely rude and unprofessional, and all in all unhelpful in general.
