Advanced Foot & Ankle Specialists, PA is available to treat foot, ankle, and leg ailments such as ankle and foot fractures, muscle and tendons, sprains and ruptures, osteoarthritis, decreased fat in the foot, and skin caner and bone tumors of the lower extremities. Our practice specializes in general foot care such as: ingrown toenails, fungal toenails, plantar fasciitis, pediatric foot care, and diabetic foot care.
Dr. Weingarten is double board certified by The American Board of Podiatric Surgery and The American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He is committed to providing his patients with the highest quality of health care while keeping his knowledge, skill, and technology up to date to ensure his patients always receive the best possible care.
To ensure your convenience, below is the information you need about our podiatry office, including our hours, location, appointment scheduling and insurance acceptance. If, for any reason, you cannot keep a scheduled appointment or will be delayed, please call as soon as possible. Charges may be incurred for appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before scheduled appointment time.
During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical history, and give you time to get to know your doctor. We accept most insurances. List of current prescriptions and/or over-the-counter medication, including dose and frequency. You are responsible for co-payments or charges that are not covered by your insurance.

A good place to go for botched surgeries. After my second surgery I expressed pain. It was ignored even tho the MRI showed my issues with my foot. But thanks to South Fl foot and ankle they fixed the problems you guys couldn't. Also unprofessional when it comes to notes in your file. Personal feelings are in there. All around not professional . High recommend South Fl foot and ankle!

I have been a Nurse Practitioner for almost thirty years and have had three podiatrists prior to Dr.Patel and I have to say a five star rating is a few stars short of his performance in both the office and in the hospital settings. In other words, as far as I'm concerned, he knows his stuff. The other podiatrists i have seen are good but Dr.Patel is a cut above them all.
He has an easy going foot side manor, is clear regarding home treatments, is thorough leaving nothing to chance and is concerned about you as a person not just your feet and/or ankles. I have to include his nurse, Michelle, here

I would personally like to say thank you to Dr. Weingarten and the staff at Advanced Foot & Ankle. At first I was hesitant about going to another podiatrist, due to the lack of care I had received previously at another facility. At Advance Foot & Ankle they really do care about you. The staff would always return my phone call within the same day. Dr. Weingarten listened and answered all of my questions. Could make appointments/ change over the phone easily (no stress). Great place to recieve treatment!

My father was referred to Dr. Patel for an ulcer on the bottom of his big toe. The staff and everyone there are wonderful but I would especially like to acknowledge Dr. Patel because he is wonderful, I would highly recommend Dr. Patel to anyone and everyone with any issue with their feet. Dr. Patel does his best to make you feel comfortable in every way. You'll feel like you've known him your whole life by the end of your visit. He has such an amazing way with people and making them feel comfortable.
