Since our founding in 1989, American Deck, Inc. has been committed to sustainable environmental building practices. This consciousness has affected company vehicles purchases as well as details such as deck framing methods.
Utilizing vinyl provides our customers products with sustainable life spans, keeping them out of landfills. Our lead-free PVC vinyl is not petroleum-based; its production requires no burning and generates no harmful gases. When it comes to environmentally sensitive manufacturing, our vinyl production methods are among the most progressive in the industry.
American Deck was selected to build and install an AZEK Display Deck for the IKEA Baltimore Store. The International Builders' Show (IBS) is the largest builder trade show in the World! Trex selected American Deck to build their deck display! This is a huge accomplishment and is sought after by every serious deck builder in America!

American Deck and Patio built a major addition to our house (40' x 14'), open deck and sunroom in Howard County, MD. They did an amazing job at all steps, from the design to the schedule, and communicated well along the way. There were no surprises! We appreciated the expertise of the team, their attention to detail, and their honesty. Overall it was an amazing experience for us, and we spend most of every day in our new space. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to do any style of deck.

American Deck and Patio in Hereford, Maryland installed my new deck, basement stairs and windows. The craftsmanship of the stairs and deck are beautiful, exceptional and professional quality. But a year later, issues developed with the deck and American Deck would not help to fix them. So I have another contractor working on the deck. I would not recommend them.

We have used American Deck and Patio for two major projects (decks at two houses) and couldn't be more satisfied. Their estimate price came in at a fair rate and the quality of the work was top notch. They kept me informed when there were delays due to the unending rains this year. They knocked out a complicated deck/roof project and the design turned out fantastic. All of their employees were professionals and incredibly nice. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to do a very high quality project at a very fair price.

American Deck & Patio have all their bases covered in terms of service. We had an old set of stairs broken down and a completely new patio layout built. Dave spent a lot of time during the initial estimate to talk about possible layouts and materials, walk around the area, and help me visualize a final product. Then he gave hard prices for each option. That was all before I ever signed a thing. Once I chose American Deck & Patio and agreed on the design, Nancy made sure the communication was clear every step of the way. Then Daniel and his team who built the deck showed up bright and early every

American Deck & Patio is an excellent company that strives to please. Dave worked with us to come up with a design that truly fit our needs. The crew was trustworthy, courteous and hardworking. Although, some obstacles did arise, Dave and his crew went above and beyond to meet our needs. The new deck is everything and more than we were hoping for. We are very happy and enjoying our new outdoor living space.
