If you are looking for a selection of middle aged white men and women who think COVID is hoax, this place is for you. If you are looking for a place where only white people are welcome, this ACE is for you. If you are looking for fair prices, competent and knowledgeable staff, with a on-par selection go somewhere/anywhere else.

The staff are Not Wearing Masks! And are belligerent when asked to do so. Patronize this Ace store at your own risk. It is against state law to not wear a mask. I work in health care and know the illness Covid can cause, I will never go here again. Emighs is 300 % Better and care about their customers.

Yeah I tried to take back my garden tool It was a razorback and I spoke to the manager for an exchange and he was extremely confrontational he basically told me that he didn't carry this exact one and that he didn't have to help me because each Ace hardware is independently owned So he told me to beat feet and kind of embarrass me made me feel like I was in the wrong when I was just trying to get a simple warranty replacement I paid 30-something dollars for a garden tool You would think it wouldn't break in less than 6 months I am going to report this man to corporate and this is

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE going to Ace Hardware in Carmichael. It's wonderful that when you ask a question from one of their many seasoned employees, you not only get an answer but often a brief, understandable tutorial even better than YouTube. Just by asking questions I have learned how to rewire a lamp, drive a Molly bolt without completely destroying it (and/or the wall), and countless other fix it jobs. They are totally awesome!!!

The absolute worst and unprofessional customer service! For anyone who wants to take advantage of there curbside pick up good luck!!!! You'll get a please hold and ignored!! You'd think they would route your call to an associate who can help you. Strictly for curbside but NO you're stuck waiting on the line. Reevaluate your work flow!!!

Ace Hardware is not what it used to be. Home Depot, Walmart, Amazon or Lowe's blow them away. How exactly? Customer service for returns. During Covid-19, I thought I would do a few repairs, if not downright remodeling at my home. However, If I buy something at Walmart online, they will always take it back, same with other retailers listed above. I am talking about some item that have never been used. Same with Home Depot. Ace Hardware? Once the credit card has been processed, it is yours. FOREVER! That is unless you want to drive 30 or 40miles to return the item. In my case, the

I have no idea if this is a locally-owned hardware store, but it sure feels that way. The selection and service were both quality. It may not be Home Depot, the obvious comparison, but it is the kind of neighborhood hardware store where you can find pretty much anything you need.
I came in seeking a bunch of odds and ends that had slowly accumulated on my "honey do" list: lightbulbs, bungee cords, some new sprinkler heads and some screws to fix an old table. The guy there was helpful in guiding me to the right screw/bolt combo. The aisles were neat and everything was easy to find. I

Woohoo success!!! Found a plunger for my kids bathroom. Three stores later and I should have known better that Ace would cone to the rescue and have the awesome Beehive plunger all along. I love this store. Not only does it have the same stuff you'll find at the big box stores like Home Depot and Lowe's but it also has adorable items for your home landscaping and interior that you will never find at those other store. And, there is always an employee on hand to help you as soon as walk in the door. Thank you Ace once again for saving the day.

Seems like the employees are only helpful for their regular customers and mostly white male. However I didn't let it deter me as I easily used a measurement converter and used my cellphone to reach the screws from the top shelf.
It's a small corner store but there aren't enough employees either here.
Go to a bigger customer service minded store.

I bought a reel mower. They didn't have a catcher for it, but they said that they would get one. Then we found out that they're not making them anymore. The whole team at Ace found one at another store. Since I'm on quarantine, they did the whole process over the phone. The best thing was the manager taking time out of his busy day to drop it off at my door. Thank YOU!

I was very surprised when I entered this small hardware store that the clerks waiting on you and at the cash register were not wearing any masks. We are still in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, and with as many customers as there were in this store on Saturday, and as small and cluttered as the store is, the workers and the customers are placed at risk. I only saw a handful of customers wearing masks so everyone is just asking for it, and this could set us back to the very beginning of the shelter in place restrictions! On the other hand, I did find what I was looking for at the store,

This store is exactly what you need... parking ,access, knowledgeable friendly employees ..... your in and out and back to creating more stuff to do and messes,, and ideas in other peoples brains for you to do! Forever and ever,,, in this life and the next,,,, infinite.... just ladys watching your every and pointing and laughing at all the crazy stuff they invent and spew out onto your tired aching soul... if there was only a way to seyshiate their wicked ways,, even for just a moment..... sure would be a blessing...
