CT Rugs
Rug expert Tom Siasi was born in Persia, Iran. Tom started working in the rug business at age 13 for Zeba in Persia. He later moved to the United States and worked his way to where he is now. Amazingly, Tom started C.T. Rugs with ONLY 7CENTS and diligent hard work. He made copies of flyers and distributed the copies, which announced his new rug cleaning business.

Tom has created several youtube videos to help customers understand more about Oriental rugs. Tom is a very passionate person and loves making friends everyday. In 2004 Tom took over the former Rugs, Rugs & Decor storefront in a historic building at 5820 Curzon, in Fort Worth, Texas. That location had been in the rug business for 22 years.

When recovering from water damage, carpets and rugs should be the first to address as they can absorb a large amount of water and prevent the entire structure from drying properly. In addition, Rug and padding that have been soaked with water contain high amounts of bacteria that present additional health hazards.
Most of the rugs have been made of the same materials for centuries, wool, cotton, silk, to which silver and gold thread can be added, although those with silver and gold were made especially for shahs and emperors. Because of its availability wool is the most common material used for making rugs in the Orient.
Sometimes if you happen to spill you coffee, tea or other liquids on rugs, one of the best ways to maintain that rug, is to take care of it right away. Make sure that you have adequate light in the room, this will prevent moths and insects from getting to your rug. Not vacuuming your rug, vacuuming will eat the pile of your rug instead shake or beat your rug.

Wonderful place my wife came home gleaming from her experience. She told me how they offered tea....gave her a quote on a cleaning and she bought a rug for our living room which is beautiful. She also talked about all the information she gained about rug care. We are still waiting for our rug to be cleaned to speak about that part. But the rug we bought is beautiful. Happy wife, happy life. Once I see the rug and how it's cleaned will add or remove a star.

I have an 8x10 foot hand knotted wool rug that had been stored for 18 months while I was remodeling. Wanted to get it cleaned and asked CT rugs for an estimate. They told me $790 to hand wash and clean. He then told me that since it had a musty smell that it would be another $180 for an enzyme treatment. Ok, this rug has been in my family for 40 years and it has never been peed on by an animal and it had a musty smell because it had been stored for 18 months. So I called another rug company and got a quote of $280 that would be a hand washing of the rug and also enzyme treatment if required

I can't help but check out reviewers to see if they are legitimate or just serial complainers. I see one does just that. If someone STOLE your priceless rugs wouldn't you turn them into the police dept for theft? How about calling a lawyer? If they told you your rugs were stolen wouldn't you insist on seeing a police report of the theft as proof?? I assume that she has proof of her business, as in invoices. If a friend witnesses your stolen items for sell wouldn't they turn in the place or person selling them?? How about taking photos or videos, in this day and age everyone

Tom did a great job on my rugs. He got the "dog smell" and stains out and they look and smell so good! He even fixed the fringe on the end of one and didn't even charge me. He is very knowledgeable and gave me some good info on do's and don'ts to keep my rugs looking good.
If you are looking for a place to get your oriental rugs cleaned or repaired, I highly recommend Tom! Oh, and make sure that you try the hot tea that he offers you!
