Amy Wine Counseling Center is a group counseling practice located in Cypress, Texas. We specialize in working with children, teens, individual adults, couples, and families to help you fulfill your life and relationship goals. Each of our counselors brings a unique set of strengths and extensive training to their practice and works with you to support you in getting from where you are to where you want to be.
Specializes in teens, adult women, adult men, couples, anxiety, depression, grief, infidelity, and Christian counseling. Here at Amy Wine Counseling Center, we know that a "one size fits all" approach will prove fruitless. Our counselors know that you are your own unique individual, and will tailor treatment to your specific needs. We offer services for children including play therapy and sand tray therapy to help children not only communicate but understand their needs and emotions.

It's common to witness our child throwing tantrums and what we perceive to be overreacting to seemingly small incidents. When we see kids who are bullying others or acting out, we may reduce their behavior to an internal aggression. We may think our child's hesitance to speak to others or explore new situations may simply be shyness that they will grow out of.

I just began counseling services for both my daughter and myself. It was very challenging and intimidating to start this process, but when I first contacted this office, the receptionist was so accommodating and helpful that I knew I had chosen the right place. She helped me figure out which therapist was the best fit for me. Months later, I have to say my therapist is the sweetest person I have met, and she is breaking the ice that is so hard to break with my daughter. She is so encouraging and has brought back hope that things will be OK in my life. I highly recommend this office if you are in

As a teacher, I know how important it is to partner up with counseling services. There are some things even us teachers can’t deal with! I came across Amy Wine and her team at a community event and found out that many of them work with children. They even have certified play therapists on board! Apparently, this is the most effective way to do therapy with children. I have their business card and plan to refer my students and their families to Amy Wine Counseling should they need counseling services. It is comforting to know that we have such a great resource here in the neighborhood!

I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with this practice. Amy Wine, the owner of the practice, is such an empathetic, caring person, and she has established a calm, peaceful place where healing can truly happen. I’m happy to say I can say this from experience. I have been working with my therapist at this practice for almost a year. She is an excellent therapist. Following the loss of a parent, one of the counselors at Amy Wine Counseling helped me deal with the anxiety surrounding the loss. Sarah Henry gave me some great exercises to help deal and cope, which allowed me to move forward in the grieving process. Since then, I follow them on social media and always take the time to read the blogs they post. I especially enjoyed the one on Self Care. Highly recommend. You won't find a more compassionate staff out there.
