They bounced me around three times and could not get my prescription correct for eyeglasses. After the first pair were no good I gave them a copy of a recent prescription I had from another Dr. and told Dr. Turner that it was perfect. I hoped by giving them that prescription it would help them get my eyeglass prescription correct. Instead of taking what I told him he changed that prescription. When I told them the prescription was not correct they as much as told me that because THEY couldn't get the prescription correct it was my fault and refused to fix my glasses or give a refund. They bounced me around three times and could not get my prescription correct for eyeglasses. When they get glasses they have you read a hand-held card for near vision, and HAVE YOU LOOK. OUT THE WINDOW for distant vision and read an eye chart about 10’ away. That never worked for me because it does not evaluate true distant vision. I’m talking about when you are driving and objects, signs, etc. appear fuzzy. You can only evaluate distant vision by wearing them in that situation for a short while. Each time I said in the office they seemed okay but again with that limited distant vision test

Called and asked for help in getting my husband in for an emergency eye exam due to him losing his glasses on vacation and getting contacts until we get home..two ladies in the office could not care less and said they had no openings for a few days. They could not care less that he couldn't see. Not a very caring office at all. They refused to ask the doctor if he could work him in.

What an amazing experience. Everyone and I mean everyone I had to deal with gave me the best customer service I've seen anywhere here in the mountains. Everyone was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and had a sense of urgency about them. This level of customer service is just not common in the area. I actually had the new doctor Patricia Allen. I've never had such a fun eye exam and she would settle for nothing but perfection. I was given the most thorough exam I've ever had and she wouldn't settle for anything but perfect vision. I walked away with several sets of glasses and contacts and

Dr. Turner has been my eye care provider for several years. He is very thorough and has always helped me make decisions regarding my contacts and eye glasses.
I wear gas permeable contacts - hard lenses. He designed prescription so that I can see distance, computer screen and also close up to read. My prescription has not changed in over nine years. Each year, he tells me it could change a little but would not be that much. No hard sell to purchase new. I appreciate that.

As a nurse, I am always aware of how clean and sanitized a Doctors office is. I give Dr. Turner and his staff an A+. His staff cleans the eye equipment before you ever think of putting your chin on a machine. One of the other attributes of his office, are that he gives you print out of everything he does. You have your prescription on paper, you have a detailed explanation of what is going on with your eyes. There is no waiting in his office; if you have an appointment at 1pm you get to see the Dr. at 1pm. I now have the perfect pair of glasses for me thanks to Dr. Turner and his staff.

I’ve been coming to see John-Mark Turner for almost 20 years. One of the best things about Mountain Eye Care is the ladies that work in the office. There always so nice and friendly. I don’t think I’ve ever been in and them not be in a good mood with a smile on their face. Even if they do make fun of my socks :-)

The staff at Mountain Eye Care was great. They worked me in quickly (next day due to a cancellation), were friendly, prompt, and worked smoothly with my insurance provider. Dr. Turner was responsive to my concerns and the summary of care materials the office provides following the visit are informative. My husband and kids will be having their appointments at Mountain Eye Care in the coming days - I feel confident they will have a positive experience, too.
