Broadway Metal Works was founded in 1933 by Mark Showalter, Sr. as a way to fulfill the equipment needs of agri-business in the surrounding area. Focusing first on the poultry industry, the company grew to serve many different companies and industries as it added additional services and expertise. Full service machine shop services including several CNC machines were added over the decades.
Metal roofing was added in the 1950's to serve both residential and commercial needs. WaterJet Cutting Services were added in the 2000's to accommodate customer's requirements. The second generation of Showalter's assumed management of the company in the 1960's with the third generation becoming involved at the beginning of the 21st century.

Agriculture is at the very heart of Broadway Metal Works as our founder; Mark Showalter, Sr., began the company in 1933 to serve the needs of local farmers. Every year since then, we have continued the tradition he established by repairing and/or customizing numerous types of farm equipment. There is little we haven't done when it comes to the area's agricultural metal needs.
Broadway Metal Works is an authorized NORAC NTEP-Certified on-board scale system installer and calibrator. Specializing in feed delivery trucks, we can design, install and maintain an on-board weighing system for your truck. The Low Profile OnBoard Scale System is equipped with automatic hydraulic controls that lift the scale into and out of weighing position in approximately three seconds.
Welding services are at the core of any metal fabrication shop and Broadway Metal Works excels in this area. Our workforce has many years of experience welding every conceivable configuration of metal. We pride ourselves on the quality and craftsmanship of the welding services we offer. We offer qualified welders in Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Brass and Carbon.
Along with our expertise is fabricating, Broadway Metal Works is your source for Waterjet, Laser cutting and complete machining services. Our Trumpf Fiber Laser with Automated sheet loading is the latest technology in precise metal cutting. We offer cutting services from: thin gauge sheet metal up to 1 thick mild steel plate, as well as, a variety of thickness capabilities of Stainless steel, Aluminum, Brass and Copper.

Damaged my front loader quick attach as well as bucket on my large tractor. Parts were quoted by dealer at a little over 3K and not available due to COVID slowdown. Took my tractor to Broadway Metal and these guys straightened my quick attach as well as bucket in less than a week and at a fraction of the cost of just the parts. Broadway Metal Works, Harrisonburg, VA is outstanding. We needed guidance and an assessment on metal roof replacement for our 1930's farmhouse and 1898 General Store in Lost River, WV.
