Wooster Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center
To fix or mend. That's what doctors do, and it's especially true for orthopaedic problems. When a bone breaks or a ligament tears, it often needs to be repaired for proper healing. Injuries can cause major setbacks at work, with sports, and in daily life because you simply can't do everything you want.

At Wooster Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center, we rebuild and repair the musculoskeletal system so you can make a complete recovery and return to life as usual. Whatever your orthopaedic need, our care is honest, focused, and compassionate, because that's what it takes to rebuild your overall quality of life.
Services
Wooster Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center has been the trusted choice for referring physicians and their patients since 1977. That was the year Dr. Owen W. Logee opened one of the area's first orthopaedic surgery practices. Dr. Logee was dedicated to providing high quality orthopaedic care along with a genuine neighborly concern for his patients' well-being.
The medical team at Wooster Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center is dedicated to seeing each and every patient make a complete recovery. Our professional support staff will be happy to answer any questions you may have and schedule an appointment that is convenient for you. If you've suffered an injury or have sudden or persistent pain in your arm, leg, hands, feet, or back, talk with one of our experts about your treatment options.
My decision to pursue a career in healthcare was influenced by my father, who was a physician. He impressed me with his skills and patient care, and I wanted to follow in his footsteps. As a college athlete, I saw many athletes suffer a variety of sports-related injuries and benefit from orthopaedic care, and this was very interesting to me - so much that I wanted to make it my career.
Many spine problems can be treated successfully without surgery. When possible, I believe in utilizing all non-operative treatment options before resorting to surgery. Dr. Watts was born and raised in Northeast Ohio. He received his bachelor of science degree from Youngstown State University and his doctorate in osteopathic medicine from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Wooster Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center offers you honest, focused, and compassionate care. Our surgeons perform many procedures at WASC; they also have hospital privileges at Wooster Community Hospital in Wooster. I broke my ankle in mid July, surgery the beginning of August. It is now January 2022 and I still have not walked. Dr Tim Miller screwed up the surgery, screws are tearing through the skin and 2 orthopedic doctors from other cities called the surgery botched. Dr. Knapic and Dr Spittle basically told me to get out of WoosterOrtho but didn’t have the nerve to say it to my face. Dr Tim Miller has left town. I once thought highly of Wooster Ortho but no longer.

Extreme wait times. Told us to be 30 minutes early and didn't even see dr until 45 minutes after actual appointment time! This was for my 2 year old with a possibly broken arm thankfully she is very patient but this amount of time is ridiculous. Also saw multiple people that came in much later than us taken back sooner.

I’ve had 2 operations by Dr’s at Wooster orthopedics and both have been very pleasant experiences. Dr Knapic repaired My miniscus and Dr. Tim Miller repaired my ruptured Achilles. Both Dr’s are top notch and very thorough in their field. I would most defiantly recommend Wooster ortho and sports medicine to everyone out there!!! They’re physical therapy staff is also top notch and a first class group of people as well. They are all very knowledgeable and thorough at their jobs. Just a super group of people!!!! Furthermore, because of the awesome care of my Dr’s, nurses, and therapy staff

Initially had a bad experience here and did not get the care I was hoping to receive for my hamstring injury. After expressing my concerns I received a call back from the doctor there and he expressed his genuine concern for the lack of care which I had felt I received. I was really happy with the help I was given subsequently. This is a great place to have work done, the people here want to have happy and healthy patients. Any complaint about the service here should be taken with a grain of salt, a little communication about your concerns will go a long way. Very satisfied with the care I have

Beware of misdiagnosis and make sure that ALL your symptoms are fully reviewed. I spent over $1,300 cash (no insurance) and had 2 MRIs which were physician reviewed and I was diagnosed with "muscle pulls". I had to go to the Cleveland Clinic for an additional appointment and the Cleveland Clinic did full bone scans. It turned out that Wooster Orthopaedic missed my left hip stress fracture, which forced me to walk with a cane for 5 weeks, due to the numbness going down my left leg, and they missed my fractured ribs, which caused excessive pain around my right rib cage. All of these work

Worst place to go poor customer service all the way around. Could care less about patients just about money and their time. I will say the MRI technician was the most positive and helpful person I met at this facility. Both visits I was called back to the exam room i waited an extreme amount of time . The first time could barely walk due to broken back and it took a long time to have anyone acknowledge that I may need a wheelchair. Waited over an hour. Today’s appointment I was running late due to work approx 15 mins I get a missed call regarding it and called them back and let them know I was

Truly a pathetic experience dealing with these people. The women on the phone were as rude as you could imagine, they do everything they can to milk every $ from you while making the process as long as possible. I will go out of my way to prevent people I know from going to here. You will deal with a new doctor every day and they pass you off to their assistant more often then not. I never even got my issue fixed before I had to cut ties with them completely.

The receptionists and X-ray techs are very very pleasant and sweet. As far as the actual doctors...well let's just say they lack any sort of patient concern or even just basic human kindness for that matter! I visited a few different doctors at this place hoping to find a doctor who would even fake being concerned for their patient and was sorely disappointed! I would rather suffer through my broken foot heeling process alone before I would ever re-visit this travesty on new age medicine again! I have heard similar stories of the lack of basic empathy from the doctors from many other people who

If you love to wait you'll love to be here.. After an hour and a half of waiting i finally got to listen to the results of my MRI. When i first scheduled this appt they told me i had to be on time and that the doctor schedules his appointments every 15 minutes so i must be on time. After my appointment i simply asked for a discount. My office visit bill was $73.00 and i felt $35.00 or half would be best suited for how long i had to wait. So i paid that amount and waited to talk to the administrator at a later date. When i got the chance to plead my case to (Paul) he stated he understood my problem
