After interviewing and getting quotes from several companies, we decided to hire Home Improvements Unlimited to finish our basement. Although I had read the numerous positive reviews they had, I had never worked with the HIU team directly or knew of anyone who had. However, after our first meeting with David to discuss the project, we knew we had made the right choice in our contractor selection. David was so easy to work with. He listened to our vision for the project, provided many valuable suggestions, and together we developed a floorplan layout that we couldn't be happier with!

Decided to use Home Improvements Unlimited for our master bathroom remodel, based on all the positive reviews. Definitely happy we did.
From the start, it was very easy to tell that they were passionate and knowledgeable about what they do. The communication during the entirety of the project was top notch.
They always made us aware of what was going on and ensured they delivered the vision we had spoke about. The planning was great. We went through a few different mock ups to squeeze everything out of the remodel we could.
They act with speed and purpose and were able to complete our project

This spring, David and his team with Home Improvements Unlimited did a complete remodel of our master bathroom and also repaired some less-than-quality work that had been done on a guest bathroom remodel a few years ago. Excellent, meticulous work - outstanding communication and genuine care and concern for our home. Quality of drywall work is unsurpassed and they always went the extra mile, installing wooden studs for anchor points where most would have just used drywall anchors that would have failed in time. Fair and honest from beginning to end. Highly recommend.

Our experience with Home Improvements was first rate and I would recommend them without reservation. Our project was different in too many ways to fit everything in this review. Briefly, we have a 100+ yr-old farmhouse that we have been remodeling ourselves for 19 years. When I took on retrofitting my wife's dream bubble-tub into the upstairs bathroom, I decided to try to hire help to complete the tub install and shower surround. These guys took on this in-progress project and made it a reality for us. From the time they walked in the door, David was enthusiastic about understanding our vision

David and his team finished our basement for us. We had a Egress window, extra bedroom, full bath, laundry room, movie room and playroom added. David was very easy to work with especially considering the amount of changes that we made on the fly and all the work was done very professionally and in a timely manner. The workers showed up on time and were very friendly and respectful. This basement far exceeds what I thought it could be and we absolutely love it. Without a doubt we will be using Home Improvement Unlimited for our next major project.
