Larry was born in 1941 in Altus, Oklahoma. He grew up in the small Texas town of San Perlita. Larry attended Texas Tech University where he received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and then went to work for a mechanical contractor located in the DFW area. He was just 34 years old when he started Venture Mechanical.
