We were first time customers and we waited over an hour for our pizza and we got home the onion rings were burned and we ordered 5 items on our pizza but only got 3! So I called they gave us a free pizza and onion rings which the onion rings were very good but alas the pizza was missing an item! Again

I read a few of the other reviews stating that the sauce was too sweet but decided to try anyway because I don’t mind a little sweetness to my sauce. I ordered the combo manicotti. The pasta and filling were at least as good or better than anywhere else I have tried in town with a similar price and culinary expectation. It’s a shame about the sauce. It really is just way too sweet, almost like a confection. It’s hard for me to imagine the cook tasting that and using it as the restaurant’s signature sauce. If they would rethink that and cut the sugar by half or even two-thirds, I would probably

Truly delicious food! NOT JUST ANOTHER PIZZA PLACE! You really need to check out their exciting and unique menu. The friendly service just tops off the experience. I would've included a photo of the food but I never put it down. Can't wait to go back and try something else. Great deals too... be sure to ask about specials.

New in the neighborhood and we were dying to have some great pizza after living in a small rural town for three years. Villa did not disappoint, from the yummy Italian sausage to the crisp of the hand tossed crust, that had a wonderful pull and chew texture. We for sure look forward to ordering again.

My husband put an order in online (pizza and wings) and it was supposed to be ready in 30 minutes. I got there at 30 minutes on the dot and they told me they didn't have any orders in process. I showed them the confirmation email my husband had gotten and was told "oh, well maybe you shouldn't have put an order in online." Then, they checked an ipad behind the counter and said, "oh ya here it is... we'll make it quick..."

Hands down the best pizza in Grand Rapids. And I don't say this lightly! I've lived here for more than 10 years and tried my share of pizza places in the city.
I usually order delivery. The folks who have showed up at my door with the 'za have always been friendly and polite.
I'm a big ratio critic, and this place gets it right. Right amount of cheese, right amount of sauce, right amount of toppings. Not too greasy. The crust doesn't get tough like a lot of other places' pizzas do. Oh and the sauce--it's perfection.

So I have to give 3 stars, unfortunately. And it's all because of the crust. The pizza was cooked to perfection, the toppings were quality, sauce was amazing.. and very non-greasy. just the crust couldn't turn me to be super high on this spot. The crust is way too doughy and chewy. Not what I am used to from a small pizzeria. I didn't see what type of oven they use, but it's always a surprise when a pizza comes out without any cornmeal on the bottom, that hadn't been cooked in a pan, a la big bobs or jets. Tried Villa for the first time today and it was great. Being new to the area I have been on the hunt for great pizza. I always get pineapple on my pizza but it sometimes makes the crust soggy but not this crust. Its was crispy and the cheese was to die for. The staff was very respectful and friendly and the place was clean. I will definitely be back. Thanks for a great experience.

Villa, Villa, Villa oh how i love you. I cant wait to come to Grand Rapids to come to Villa. My children loves Villa so much they say "Mom if we eat at Pizza Hut we are cheating on Villa" lol. So this is our designated Pizza place when we come home to GR. Best Pizza, and the Best Customer service, the older lady is always so nice to me. Sorry I dont know names, but i came for pizza and i was moving and i asked for ice and the guy thats always making the delicious dough when i come in allowed me to come to the back to get as much as I needed. Take note this pizza deserves zero stars (Yelp won't let you post without giving at least 1 star)! You've been warned. 2 pizzas and breadsticks for $43. The toppings were skimpy, the sauce has zero flavor, the mushrooms are canned, breadsticks were dry and flavorless. If you are at all conscientious about your caloric intake, this is the biggest waste of your daily allowance. We called to express our disappointment and the manager was unresponsive. OK, so I am a die hard Villa Pizza fan. There's no better pizza that I've had. We've gotten their pizza for almost every family get together and we're not about to change. The owner is a great guy and extremely friendly. Decent prices, delicious food, friendly staff, what more can you ask for. Definitely recommend it to everybody I know.
