I recently had Treepublic install a 4.68Kw Solar PV panel and inverter in my house. I went through a thorough review of 7 proposals before I chose Treepublic. The companies included large national installers and small local installers. Treepublic provided a competitive bid but it was not the lowest price bidder.

I have now had Treepublic do two jobs for me and I couldn't be happier! The first install was solar and the second was the battery back up. Both jobs came out amazing and I am very detailed and they worked with me throughout to ensure I was pleased. I recently reached out for some assistance on an issue that was not theirs and Omar sent out Shad the same day! They let me know what the issue was they saw and even helped me patch it up. We worked with Treepublic this year to install solar. We really, really recommend them. The whole process took many months, but that was not Treepublic's fault. Instead, we had permitting issues not disclosed when we bought the house, and LADWP took forever to get everything buttoned down. Treepublic stuck with us the whole time, probably losing money on our installation given how many extra months of work were required but likely not anticipated. I posted this review for their Hawthorn location already without realizing that the Bel Air location was the office I actually worked with. I'm the kind of person who researches for months and months before taking on a major project. I knew I wanted solar panels on my house but they deliberately make it beyond confusing to figure out. Renting, leasing, financing, reselling -- it's beyond confusing. Then, once you think you figure it out, you try to research different companies for bids and they have multiple websites and names, it's a total mess.

We just bought a house with an Enphase solar system. The system was giving errors, so I called Enphase. They directed me to their local installers page. I called 6 and they all said they will not touch the system because they didn’t install it. I called Enphase back and got the installer who put the system in. Called them 3 times and all 3 times the phone disconnected. I googled the company to see if I can find a different number, and what I found was a bunch of complaints on consumer affairs site complaint that the companies phones disconnect and they never respond to email. I call Enphase back

This was not a problem, but some of the team members do need to be more proactive in reaching out to keep their customers informed. Treepublic is professional and competent and this "wish" did not adversely impact any aspect of their performance. My experience with those other installers convinced me that I made the right choice--Treepublic.

Sean and Ramsey did a great job in December 2019. Sean, explained everything thoroughly and Ramsey and Company did an excellent job and finished when they said they would originally. All the paperwork everything, was great, and they saved me quite a bit of money.
One of the things I look for on Yelp is what happens when the consumer has a problem. Well a few days later, I noticed one my outlets wasn't working after the install, which I presumed was due to the installation. They were very professional and replaced the breakers and such. This company is great, can't recommend them

Treepublic is great to work with. I decided to go with solar panels on my garage roof, because my electric bill kept increasing. Everything was done on a quick timeline and the installation looks great. I have a flat roof and the install was straightforward and (hopefully) leak-free. We will not know until we finally have a rain. They completed the project in great time and have been helpful with post-set up questions. I already left a review on here last year but I wanted to follow up that Omar and Treepublic is there for you after the install. I had a couple of issues come up with the inverter and one of the panels. Treepublic was there within three days with a new panel and/or updated me on the status of the replacement inverter.
That alone is worth using Treepublic - the dedicated support.

Let me first start by saying I am extremely picky and a perfectionist when it comes to everything that I’m installing on my home or anyone I have hired I expect the same. Trevor and his team from TreePublic break the mold for you standard contractor. They themselves are perfectionist and the system I had installed not only is functioning amazing it looks great! Long story short, I initially found TreePublic on Yelp but then continued to do some additional online research about them.
