The pavilion is a great place for groups and large families to meet for meals or events. And if we have a live band visit us, the pavilion is also the place to watch, listen, and dance the evening away. We take you upstream for an enjoyable 6-mile float on the crystal clear Black River that ends right back at the campground.
How great is that! We rent 6-man and 4-man rafts, canoes, kayaks, and tubes. Inventory is limited, so please call to make a reservation. Riversedge Campground is located right on the serpentine Black River. We have everything from primitive tent sites to extra large RV sites with electric and water.

This is the worst float camp I've been to so far, the only reason for 2 stars is because we did get to complete our trip and float. First off the sites are extremely small, and when we got there the site we had booked had 2 different campers that were halfway on the site leaving no room for our 2 tents. They did allow us to move to a different site though(the camp host should have told the 2 campers they have to move or be charged for that site too). The sites were not very defined, people just kind of pulled up and dropped their camper where they felt like it. We also had to drag over our own

We go here each year with a group. It's not our choice of location, but the group has made it a tradition, and we enjoy the group. The campgrounds are very run down. Bathrooms are disgusting, really old, and not properly maintained. Even worse is the staff who check you in. They are totally disorganized. I'm not sure they even own a computer, and they seem to write little notes on paper everywhere, and seem confused finding bookings everytime you arrive. You may think you have booked a site or a float, but the chances of you getting moved off are high. The sites are not maintained well either,

I went there for the 1st time. The staff, I thought was super. Some of the people that came there weren't. Fri nite there were 2 groups that were yelling and screaming till 12:30+ am. Security took care of that Sat nite. People with dogs were irresponsible, some of them weren't on leashes and running around. The staff kept the bathrooms as clean as they could but but the people that used them were pretty bad, especially the kids. They should consider putting a shower curtain up that separates the showers from the toilets and the men's was missing a door partition so you can't see in the men's bathroom

Had a wonderful float on the Black River, brought our own kayaks because they were sold out. Camping was nice, right on the river. They have 1 worker at the cabin, be prepared to wait in a long, long line to get tags for your wrist, kayak and car. They do not have computers here and do everything by hand on pen and paper. Very unorganized trying to find our paperwork in stacks everywhere. They need to hire more workers and get with the times.

The old woman in the office was so unnecessarily rude I'm still thinking about it 3 days later. She spoke to me like I was ignorant. I spend to much money on float trips to be treated this way. Campsites are tiny and there are no trash cans. Showers were hot though and security was very friendly. At least they have that going for them. Shame on the store staff.
