Schnitzer Associates helps individuals to build personal strength and gain confidence in school, at university, in the admissions process and elsewhere. Counseling is low-key and humanistic. All services are individualized, with the goals of comfort, determination and hopeful aspiration. Hot chocolate, fruit and Zabars bagels provided gratis.
Licensed full skills/reading and psycho-educational assessment and a wide span of tutorial services are available at almost every developmental level of the academic process and in adult life. Waiting room with client wifi, toys, available refeshments, streaming television, music, books and a wide variety of relatively new magazines.

I have only great things to say about Dr. Schnitzer. Not only is he brilliant, he is also very kind, patient and dedicated to helping others learn and succeed. He genuinely cares about his clients and listens to their needs. I worked with Dr. Schnitzer when I was in high school and he tutored me once per week for two consecutive years. Due to my learning disabilities, I didn’t believe that I would pass the SATs nor get into college. I graduated college and got my masters! I am most appreciative of how much Dr. Schnitzer believed in me- I truly would not be where I am today without him. I am forever

Both my son and daughter have learning disabilities and never thought they had the ability to go to college. Dr. Schnitzer changed all that! My children worked with Dr. Schnitzer when they were in high school and because of him they found within themselves that they did in fact have the ability to be college material. They both went to college because of the dedication, patience, steadfastness Dr. Schnitzer showed them during the years he tutored them. My son works with me in our family business and my daughter went on to grad school. My son, daughter and I will never forget how Dr.Schnitzer changed

Dr. Schnitzer is the most lovely person I have ever known, and he is a deeply gifted teacher. He works hard, he listens closely, and he creates an environment where students of all ages can learn to the best of their ability. My siblings and I have all used his services (for the SAT, SAT2s, MCAT, and LSAT), and we have been very grateful we did. Dr. Schnitzer took me, a theater student with a bad GPA, and helped me get into a T14 law school. I cannot recommend his services highly enough.

Dr. Schnitzer was nothing but a big disappointment and a waste of time and money. Would not recommend him to anyone. Wastes a lot of time being off topic and was very rude when being questioned on his plans. Got through 2 SAT questions in 48 minutes. Has no clear plans on improvement and spends the first 30 minutes speaking on his personal opinions. Very condescending to us and our child.
