Geothermal drilling is the key step in accessing the Earth's natural, and free, cooling and heating properties. With the Earth's surface maintaining a constant 55 degrees year round, routing heat-exchanging tubes through it will aid in cooling those hot summer days and warming those freezing winter nights.
McMullen Well Drilling provides access to the Earth's natural cooling and heating properties. Water well drilling is not an overwhelming procedure, if you have the right people on the job. You need someone who knows the rules, uses the best practices and has the most advanced equipment. McMullen Well Drilling can help.

Services
McMullen Drilling Corp. has been in the business for over 20 years and we've been lucky enough to learn a thing or two over those years. Family owned and operated, our goal is to provide outstanding customer service by building lasting relationships with each of our customers. We've even worked hard to make sure that our staff knows the most up-to-date information about all of your well needs.
Since the earth is a natural filtration system, most well water is clean and safe to drink. It is not run off water in a reservoir or water from a river that could be contaminated. Occasionally, a well can get bacteria in it. If bacteria intrude your well, usually a one-time shock chlorination kills the source.
Temporary abandonment - A well is considered temporarily abandoned when it is taken out of service. Owners of temporarily abandoned wells intend to bring the well back into service at a future date. Temporarily abandoned wells must be covered by a watertight cap or seal that prevents any materials from entering the well.
When searching for drilling companies in Oregon, be sure you find one that knows their stuff. McMullen Well Drilling has the licensing and registration required for drilling of geotechnical holes, and has been providing geotechnical drilling or environmental drilling services for more than 20 years.
Geothermal Drilling is quite an interesting process, and with proper sizing of your well field (depth and number of wells), is an essential part in achieving long term energy savings. Geothermal Drilling is typically anywhere from 150 feet deep to 400 feet deep. You would need to conduct a proper HVAC heating and cooling load calculation on the building in question.

Don't waste your time! took over a week to schedule with these people and then they didn't show up. Tried calling their office several times and went to voice mail. I had to call them to find out what happened. Then I got hung up on right after they told me to go somewhere else.

I can’t say enough good about this company! They went out of their way for us. McMullen drilling drilled the first well back in 1995 on my parents property and drilled , hopefully , the final well on my folks’ property last week. Aaron & Mike put in sooo many long hours & even weekends trying to help us meet closing deadlines, Art & Deb personally ran water samples for potability testing to wherever the lab is, I believe Salem or there abouts. This was not an easy situation, with the job they were handed but they did it & they did it “WELL” 😁!! They are very professional, caring and
