The Doctors are good people , the front desk staff are good for nothing as many other comments have stated. When calling to get an appointment you will get voicemail every time and you will die waiting for a return call. Unbelievable disrespect and unprofessional procedure for a Medical Facility and when I complained about this I was treated with attitude and more disrespect.

You can call all day long and be in severe pain and won’t receive an answer. You can tell the dentist you’re experiencing tooth pain for months and they will just send you home and say they’ll book you at a later date for a root canal. There is no sense of urgency with any of the patients. I’m assuming the policy’s and procedures are basic and do not seem to put the patients needs first. Besides the rude receptionist that they continuously hire every year that will stare at you and act like they’re so busy working on a computer that they don’t even see you standing in front of them

Honestly, wish I could give this facility no stars. I was able to get an appointment here one time, about 6 months ago. Since then, I have heard no word or gotten no response from anyone working here. Not only have I tried to contact my doctor here, my pharmacy has as well, still no response. Called my pharmacy this morning and they said that they themselves can’t override anymore refills because the doctor hasn’t answered MULTIPLE requests from them. I am so frustrated with this place and their lack of professionalism and care for their patients.

I love Dr Mendoza but the front office staff is HORRIBLE! Everytime I have an appt they are right there sitting at the desk, but never answer the phone. How do yall keep a job? I can call right when they open, no answer. If it weren't for Mendoza being an awesome doc, I would have been took my kids elsewhere.

I wanted to share my excellent experience with Neighborhood Medical Center at the NE Public Library in Tallahassee today.
Tyrone Brooks in registration was truly amazing. He was very compassionate and has such a calming demeanor.
Shawn administered the test. She was very caring and great at explaining everything to me.
Thank you both for being angels during a very stressful time. It made such a difference! You are a blessing to our community.

I really wish I looked at the reviews before coming here. There is no point in advocating for yourself if you’re just going to experience medical negligence anyway. A complete waste of time and energy. As someone that is interested in working in the medical field, I always read about people being ignored by healthcare professionals because their blood work is fine.. never did I think I would have concerning blood work and still get dismissed.

They never answer the phones. I would literally sit in the waiting room and call and watch them not answer the phone. Just horrible and lazy folks. They don't need to be working where caring for people is the objective of the facility. The entire front office needs to be replaced.

Sometimes it is hard to get someone on the phone. I have been calling for two days now to get an appointment but any extintion I call nobody answered. It is really frustrating when you really need an appointment. But when you can get in there the staff is friendly. I do feel like that the nurses and "doctors" don't really listen.
