New To You

Not a lot of recent reviews for New To You--well, I'm here to change that. I had a nice experience on my recent first visit to this store. The staff were visible and ready to help but not pushy. The inventory was well curated and full but not overly stuffed. I saw a number of nice sweaters and dresses that I liked, and I ended up buying one. Also a lot of fun gifts, jewelry, and assorted decor items.

This store is geared toward an older crowd, which I really like. I'm past the age of shopping at some other resale boutiques that focus on only the trendiest items in juniors sizing. New

We came in looking for women's pants, and I was able to find 4 pairs in my size. They're pricier than say, Goodwill, (I paid 113$ for the four pairs) but the clothes are high quality and it's a nice place. Their dressing rooms are open, which isn't true everywhere at this point, so that was a plus. Their selection is a little limited because they're a small store, so I feel like I got kind of lucky. Overall this was a good experience and if I'm in this situation again, I might come back.

My favorite consignment store. Love Christine. She is so nice and a pleasure to talk to. I buy a lot of funky pieces there. She puts the funk in funky. Thanks to her boutique, when I go out I dont look like everybody else.

This charming consignment shop is my very favorite. I always find something irresistible, whether its a Lauren shirt or a piece of jewelry.

First time taking items to New To You. Very welcoming and accommodating! Since I'm in the middle of spring cleaning, I was not there to buy, but a quick look around, and I noted lots of great things! Next trip will be to shop.

Best place in NOVA to purchase high end beautiful clothing, accessories, shoes, handbags and jewelry at reasonable prices. The store is an impeccable boutique and the owner Christine and her staff are marvelous. It truly is a little gem in the heart of Falls Church.

Love popping into this friendly, clean and well organized consignment shop. Beautiful designer pieces as well as ready to wear. Owner is always happy to come up with ideas to update an existing outfit, or help you find what you need. Staff has a thorough knowledge of what's in the store. Have consigned as well as purchased with positive results. My favorite consignment shop in the area.

The staff here were awesome!!!! The selection was huge. I did not fond want I needed this time but because of the great customer service I will be sure to visit on my next consignment adventure.

This review is for consigners, not shoppers. I am a VIP consigner at a couple of other area shops, and would NEVER recommend consigning here after having done so a couple of times. The owner is quite unpleasant to deal with and severely underprices when presented with the opportunity. On the plus side for shoppers, I've seen some cute things and that underpricing may provide decent bargains.

I have been shopping at New To You since it first opened over 20 years ago. Even though my tastes (and size!) have changed, I almost always find something wonderful to buy at this boutique. The staff really knows fashion and have helped me find items that I would not have considered trying on and then end up loving. I frequently get compliments on the clothes and accessories that I buy at this store. And the handbags are fantastic! Great shop. Great salespeople. Always a fun experience.

Christina is a delight to deal with. I've been a shopper and a consigner for years. Clothes tend to be 'hip,' high-end, and designer labeled. Definitely upscale and the prices reflect that. Feels more like a boutique than a consignment store. Great place to look for a party dress, a purse to die for, high-heeled design shoes, and nice jewelry.

Didn't buy anything because I felt very uncomfortable by the associates who FOLLOWED me!! At first I thought I was being ridiculous, because you know, it's 2016... Unfortunately, I intentionally watched and observed myself being watched and observed, so I walked out spending $0, and encourage you to do the same.

Beautiful, quality clothes - including some couture - shoes, bags, and jewelry. Unfortunately you can't easily see and touch their nicer handbags, but almost everything else is within reach. Excellent, friendly customer service. I only found a ring on this trip, but will stop again the next time I'm in the neighborhood.

I have shopped at New To You for years and loved it! I find great items at reasonable prices and the service and fashion advice is wonderful. I do not usually post reviews online - but feel that a great review was warranted in this case.

I attended a New To You party back on March 19, 2016. New To You holds these small "get together" parties several times a year. I thoroughly enjoyed this party and the ability to browse the store items and try on clothing in a leisurely fashion while sipping champagne and having a bite to eat. Adorable little boutique and the owner Christine is so personable and friendly! Took a few items to consign and unfortunately the items I loved weren't in my size but will be going back to look again in the future!

There's always something for everyone with all product in excellent condition. I've worked in sales for over 10 years and always enjoy the atmosphere and customer experience. The team is pleasant and knows a lot about the items sold and brand info. I always leave with something unique and priceless.

Low key ready to answer questions and put my finds in a dressing room ladies. Rooms were roomy with plenty of hooks to hang clothing I was trying on. Two amply sized pink velvet chairs for significant other to sit while you shop. There's Jewelry available to accentuate your newest wardrobe finds. Shoes galore casual to formal from $25- $239 for Mahno blahnik, coach, other designers in many color and heel heights. I don't wear heels over 2" and there were shoes I liked here. Purses offered: Kate spade, coach, Perlina, others.

I stop at consignment stores when I drive by them in the area... which lead me to this store. This store really didn't have that many clothing choice. I didn't see anything of interest in the store except a pair of shoes that wasn't my size. Grazing through the store the clothes that was there seem overpriced.

This store is fantastic- the selection is great, the quality of the merchandise is unbelievable, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Even the higher end designer items are priced fairly, and are in reliably excellent condition. The owner here is seriously picky, and for this reason you can be sure that everything on the floor is 100% authentic. As a guy, I have trusted the expertise of the staff while shopping for gifts for my girlfriend, and have always been satisfied with the result. I couldn't recommend New To You highly enough!

You will need to do a little work to shop here, but it'll be worth it! First, the associates will greet you, but they won't hover. So, when you need help you'll need to outright ask. Personally, I like this.

It is pricey, but you'll pay any price once you find a jewel that's worth it. Remember, that these items are now one-of-a-kind items that you can't go online to buy. Tried to consign a few items and the (I am guessing) owner/manager was snooty before she could even see what I had with me. I wouldn't bother. Also hard to get to and park.

Added 8/21: Let me add more details. Describing the staff as snooty is being very nice. I felt extremely unwelcome, put down, and treated like I wasn't good enough to even walk through the door let alone have something that was good enough to sell in the store. The items there are not that good looking or high end. Many things seem like they came out of some grandmother's estate sale. Read the other posts...

Items can be pricey ($25-$40+) because there are boutique and high end designer labels.

I bought a leather Coach purse for $25... which I was excited about for about a day, until upon further research with Professor Google, I became pretty sure that it was a FAKE coach bag and not a real one. It's still a nice bag (it looked legit and was made well, and I liked it enough to not try to return it), but even so, a little disappointing.

Nowadays, it's just so hard to find one-of-a-kind stuff, what with mass producing department stores, shops and whatnot. It's nice to find consignment shops that are discerning in what they accept yet can still sell the items for a decent price. This is why New To You is awesome.

I popped into NTY last week while running errands in the area, so I was really in to just browse around. I found tons of cute shoes- everything from ballet flats to really adorable heels. Only problem was that everything seemed to be in sasquatch sizes (size 9 and 10). I found a lovely pair of red sandals but

I was looking for more of a rummage shop when I stumbled across 'New To You'.

Lots of cute shoes and dresses; high end. I was with a boy, so, couldn't really browse for long, but from what I can see, a great place to bring your girlfriends when you want to put together a one of a kind outfit for a weekend out with the ladies!

The staff were friendly and attentive.

I'll be back to browse, feel like I could really come alive in this cute shop.

After hitting about 6 metro area consignment shops in search of a dress for a black tie affair, I was weary and tired, but decided to stop by New to You since it was on my way home. After the crappy/gaudy/so 10 years ago/overpriced selection I found everywhere else, I figured I wasn't going to find anthing, but hey, it's on the way home. I was completely wrong! I called ahead to make sure that they at least carry formal dresses, and the woman on the phone was so kind...she asked my size and literally described everything that they had that fit my needs and would fit me...prices and all
