We couldn't be more thrilled to begin our 45th season after this past unsettling year. It feels like a new beginning, and everyone is invited to partake in the excitement of a wide variety of LIVE performances. As Billy Joel put it: I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity.
It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music. It feels great to be back on that track again. Tickets to all performances are now available, with extra savings if you purchase a package. Here is a list of performances included in our 2021-2022 season lineup.

Articles of Incorporation filed with Kenneth M. Hill, Attorney at Law, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. Arts Council of South Wood County was organized in 1976 as a nonprofit corporation to provide a variety of professional performing art forms for residents of all ages. The Arts Council also provides Arts in Education programs which enrich the lives of area students through performances, workshops and master classes with professional artists.
Each show presented at the Performing Arts Center is a catalyst for enrichment, involvement and economic growth in our community. Patrons planning to attend a show may shop for something new to wear, dine at a local restaurant, or stay at a local hotel, along with visiting artists. Lobby refreshments, which are sponsored by local youth and nonprofit groups, raise funds for student trips, community work and education programs.
In these unprecedented times, we would like to express our gratitude for all of these businesses who have stepped up and continue to support The Arts Council this season. We appreciate it more than words can express. Please make it a point to return that support by turning to these businesses when the need arises.
We encourage you to consider sponsoring a performance. In previous seasons, a minimum donation of $1,000 from an individual or organization would allow them to sponsor a live show. Consider doing so in celebration of a momentous event such as an anniversary or graduation, in memory of a loved one, or to celebrate the arts with your employees.
