I am conflicted in writing a review. First off Dr. Usman was wonderful and did a great job with my daughter and her needs. HIs male medical asistant was just as wonderful. ( Sorry his name escapes me). If I could leave it there it would be wonderful but, it did not start this way.

I was seen by Dr. Cox for a foot injury. It was a LONG road to recovery and I was ultimately in a boot for about 3.5 months. I was seen in office 3x and every time I was listened to and thoroughly walked through all of the diagnostic and care plans. It was a long wait each time but he was the only Doctor I had seen for my foot injury that actually cared and figured out what the issue was. Every other Doctor told me it was a bad sprain and to walk it off when, in reality I had several fractures and a full lisfranc injury. Let me clarify, this high review is for Dr. Usman Urooj, and Nurse practitioner Leah Richardson. They're both amazing, very thorough and knowledgeable. They take the time to explain everything, and make sure you understand everything, and answer any questions, and make sure you're properly diagnosed and prescribed anything you might need. Night and day difference from the other guy. I would recommend either of them, I hope they stick around.

It may be difficult to get a timely appointment, and when you do get scheduled it may take longer than expected to actually be seen by the doctor, but it’s definitely worth the wait. Plan ahead to allow yourself the time. Dr. Cox is very thorough and explains step by step what he’s doing or recommending, and why.

The worse, I see they’ve been taking their time to see patients. I worked a 12hr graveyard shift and got out of work at 7am, stay up till 10:30am for my appointment and didn’t get seen by Dr. Cox till 12pm. The assistant told Dr. Cox he had a family member waiting to see him in the lobby. He asked how I was doing and I told him I am tired and been waiting for over 2hrs to see him. He didn’t seem to care. No antibiotics were prescribed and they were trying to sell me a “kit” for $40 to take care of my wound. I wear steel toe shoes at work and it is painful ! My toe feels and looks horrible

My son and daughter have both been patients for over 2 years. Dr. Cox and his staff are awesome!! It’s rare these days to find a Dr. who make you feel like they are actually concerned about your situation and not just a dollar sign. At times you may have to wait a little longer than expected but the bedside manner and customer service makes it worth while.
