I would not recommend this company for anyone living in Portales. Things seemed great at first with Joann and Mike, but after you've signed your lease it won't. My place was not cleaned upon my move in to the standard that I'm expected to when I move out. Joann in particular responds to texts through their portal and more than once has essentially told me how to take care of the problem myself; that's not what I'm paying rent for. She's also very rude and dismissive when responding. I can see her gaslighting extends to responses on these Google reviews when they receive bad comments. I've also

Terrible company. Customer service was terrible. The office workers were rude and condescending and they made it as difficult as posible for me to even get shown the rentals. I do not want to rent from them

This could not have been a worse experience! Avoid this place like the plague! The place I rented had several problems with plumbing and electricity and they refused to help me at all! I have written several complaints directly to them and they refused to hear them. Rather than explain anythiung they just choose to ignore all problems. Terrible!

We have a rental property that has been mismanaged by so many other property managers. But not with Eastern Sunbelt! They have gone ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure our place is in tip top shape for tenants and that it is ALWAYS occupied! We cannot be more grateful for all of their hard work and help!

I don't know if it does any good to deal with this company or not. I have opinions how about them and they're not good.

Was decent moving in but very very unprofessional during move out. Gave them the exact date I was moving out, a 60 day notice, when I signed my lease and a 2 week notice. Still was charged $200 even though I paid a full months rent when I only lived there for 11 days that month. I would not recommend working with Eastern Sunbelt unless you want to have many problems moving out.

Good people work here. We were struggling financially during Christmas and the owner of our house waived $155 worth of rent and fees without even knowing we were in a bind. It was welcome news.

Very nice when you move in but extremely rude when you move out unable to give 30 day notice due to dads .health . So we were charged to move appliances back into home because we were given permission to use our own since stove at remtal was awful. Plus. Charged for carpet cleaning when we cleaned them better than what we got them had red marks of lip stick i believe from tentants before us. We paid our rent on time every month except 1 month 2 days late paid 40 in late fees but i called to notify them of situation. We are also paying for 30 days of rent due to not giving 30 day notice.
