I have never used Cakeitecture before, but have been given cookies from there so I knew they were super cute. I recently made a custom order with them which they told me they would be able to do for a shower we are having in a couple weeks. I sent them all necessary information as soon as they let me know they could do it. Two days later they wrote me to let me know they wouldn’t be able to do cookies for us because all of a sudden they are fully booked. So now I’m back at square one. Comes off as very unprofessional to me, so I wouldn’t try them again in the future.

The employees seemed nice to work with and I was excited about my wedding cake after a great tasting. Unfortunately the cake that I got for my wedding was not the same as I had tasted before....it was dry and tasted so bad that the whole cake was thrown away. When I told them that something went wrong with the cake, they were very defensive and said it was “NOT DRY” even though they didn’t taste it. I never asked or expected a refund, because accidents happen, so a genuine apology was all I wanted but they wouldn’t even do that after paying $300 for a terrible wedding cake! If you want

Very disappointed. I ordered an eight inch round lemon cake for my son's 21st birthday. The communication was lacking during the ordering process. I emailed and spoke with the office manager. I told her about my son's interests and stated I was available for design questions multiple times. I was told that they would do "something nice" for $150. When I walked in, the baker said, "with your budget it was plain, so I made it quilted and didn't charge you". I thought this was strange since $ 150 for an 8 inch cake didn't feel like a limited budget.

Decided to make the drive from GA solely based on their reputation and we weren't disappointed. I went in with my daughter and grandkids and wasn't sure what to have. The owner recommended "paintable cookies" for my 3 y/o and cake pops for me and the 2 y/o. While my daughter was discussing wedding cakes, the toddlers were having their way around the shop. However, the owner didn't even blink! She had the patience of Job and tolerated all they could dish with a smile! Between the quality of the owner & her staff, to the outstanding baked goods this is one place to definitely go out of the way for

Well, I can start off with poor communication. Had to ask for itemized receipt multiple times. Very overpriced. Did a tasting in May with all the arrangements and flavors picked out. A weeks before the wedding was ask what flavors bc they had forgotten. Arrived an hour before the wedding and never contacted me to even let me
know they had arrived. My caterer had to add to the table to make it look decent as well as left zero plates to serve the cake on. Still have yet to contact me.. Dropped the cake off and left!! The cake had no test at all and icing was like Criso with sugar added. Extremely

Carie and her team outdid themselves on our wedding cake! They were extremely helpful to this bride who had no clue what she was doing. I had my heart set on a red velvet cake but they suggested I come in for the cake tasting anyway prior to my big day. And I am so glad I did! We actually went with the spiced cake and red velvet which was PERFECT for my Christmas themed wedding. Everyone is STILL talking about how awesome the spiced flavor was!! The design of the cake was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!

Carie and her team made my wedding cake, cupcakes, and grooms cake for our wedding. I absolutely loved working with her and was FLOORED at the amazing job she did with my cakes! The brides cake was beautiful and we were delighted with her amazing pumpkin cake recipe, which was perfect for our fall wedding. She took her time with set up of the bridal cake and cupcakes and the presentation was perfect. The grooms cake was an amazing sculpted bass fish and everyone's jaws hit the floor when they saw this "surprise" cake :) it truly was a work of art! I highly recommend calling Carie for all your cake
