BEWARE - DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH THIS COMPANY. Contract term is for 3 years and will automatically renew for an additional 5 without any notice. THEY WILL NOT TELL YOU THIS WHEN YOU SIGN. If you try to cancel for any reason they still want payment for the remaining 5 years. They claim this is typical in the industry but that is patently false. Virtually no one does this anymore as it is considered dishonest. Most states have outlawed these types of contracts - but not Maryland. I have spoken to the States Attorneys General Office and my state rep to move legislation banning these contracts

I am disappointed in this company. Inherited an antiquated alarm system upon purchasing a home and got locked into a multi-year contract. In talking with my wife, she said she has had this same conversation with them in the past to no avail. Upon asking for options, I was given a non-starter choice that doesn't help us out at all. I will not be renewing with them.

I want to share my excellent experience with Harford Alarm and especially Stuart Bell who is their main sales rep. Stuart is a consummate professional and has taken care of us for our house and recently for our business. He made sure he listened to our needs and went through all the components of the alarm systems explaining what was necessary, what was recommended, what was optional etc. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to get everything right so that both the home system and the office system did exactly what we needed yet stayed within our budget. The installer, Jamal, was also great
