SCAM! DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!
I would give 0 stars if I could. Mythical Maids is a total scam, I should've listened to all the previous horrible Yelp reviews. Nobody came on the day of our booking, nobody answered our phone calls (goes straight to voicemail) or emails. The so called "owner" of this company lists her phone number but the call goes straight to a voicemail recording. They are totally unresponsive and are simply stealing your money. I'm now out $120. Do NOT book with them by any means, this company is a SCAM!

Booked online and 2 maids were confirmed for a 2-3p arrival window. At 3p, I called (left a voicemail) and emailed. No response. At 3:40p one very tired looking maid showed up instead of 2, and said it would take 4 hours (instead of 2). No explanation was provided about why she was so late, why no one had called, or why only 1 maid showed up. I wasn't able to accommodate the time change, so my home was not actually cleaned. Will not try this service again.

Do not hire Mythical Maids. We hired them for an apartment move out deep cleaning and they did a VERY surface level job. They sent pictures to us to show the areas that they cleaned well but when I returned to my apartment to do a review before my walkthrough with my landlord I noticed there were visible cobwebs, they hadn't touched the inside of the oven, there were visible marks from where they cleaned with the chemicals on the walls/in the sinks. It certainly was anything but the deep clean that we paid extra for.

I only used the cleaning service one time and should have never used them gain after that. I scheduled first time a couple days before the necessary cleaning for Saturday at 10. The night before I needed to do the cleaning they cancelled and said they couldn't accommodate that date even though they allowed me to schedule. I considered this a one off and worked with them which was hard as they never respond to phone, text or email for at least 24 hours or more at a time. I then was relatively happy with the cleaning service and I scheduled for a visit 3 weeks out and instead of holding that appointment

I scheduled a clean to prepare my home for a short term rental guest. I like their online system that allows me to leave detailed instructions (after booking and creating an account). The cleaner showed up on time, clearly received and understood my instructions for entering and setting up the house. She called me to let me know I left out the wrong size sheets and that she resolved the problem. I appreciate the follow up communication and the service as expected. I feel comfortable using this service in the future and I can already see that my future cleanings are assigned to the same individual

Complete Scam and terrible customer service from chris. Paid for a $200 “deep clean” when I arrive back home nothing was touched at all she’d sprayed windex in the air and left. Took multiple days to contact and ask for refund even sent pictures of the house still a dirty after the cleaner left and christ had the nerve to lie to my face and say the cleaner sent pictures that she actually cleaned the place. Unless you want to be ripped off by the most unprofessional people ever I wouldn’t go here.

Our house was quite "lived in" (dirty) given months of sheltering. Mythical Maids arrived on time and did an admirable job, even though the job was probably bigger than they might have anticipated. I'm grateful for all the hard work. I might suggest the cleaner where a surgical mask, as opposed to the ventilated cotton mask, as the former has been shown to be more effective in research on masks.

It was very good. I usually plan to spend a few hours cleaning a rental unit before I show it, even after I “get it cleaned”. But not this time! I was blown away by the effort being put into this regular apartment. Every time I came back to check in on the progress, they were literally on their hands and knees scrubbing areas that had probably never been cleaned. It turned out so clean! Everywhere!! No joke, I will be hiring this service for my own personal residence after this experience. Thanks to all involved.

I have never had a professional cleaning service before and I am beyond impressed. My home looks better than it has in a long long time. The ladies were awesome and so professional. They have done a beautiful job. I am so blessed to have found this company. They are top-notch that's for sure!

I love Mythical Maids of Berkeley!! Our first cleaning was while we were moving out of our old apartment and into our new home. They did such an amazing job, and my cleaner was so nice and professional. I have them come to clean a few times a month now!! I recommend them to my family and friends all the time. We have tried other cleaning companies in Berkeley and there is NO ONE like them! =)
