Playparty.net is a fabulous children's birthday party and entertainment business that was started in June of 1997 in Los Angeles, California. The founder, Mike Southgate, is a married father of two daughters. Mike created this children's birthday party business by incorporating two of the most popular toy creations, Hot Wheels toy cars and LEGOs, which millions of kids all over the world have been playing with since the 1940's and 1960's.
Since 1997, thousands of families and kids from all over the South Bay, Los Angeles, Orange County and the San Fernando Valley have enjoyed the BEST LEGO Birthday party that features interactive "hands-on" LEGO building fun for your birthday child and their party guests. LEGO associate will arrive at your location to set-up, facilitate, supervise and oversee your child's Best LEGO/Race Car birthday party event.
Since 1997, thousands of South Bay, Los Angeles, Orange County and San Fernando Valley families and kids have enjoyed the Ultimate Race Car Birthday Party featuring 4 incredible Hot Wheels custom race tracks. A Playparty.net race associate will arrive at your location to set-up, facilitate, supervise and oversee your child's ultimate race car birthday party event.
One-hour MINIMUM Playparty staffed play time (does NOT include set-up and breakdown time). If your party starts between 12:00 noon - 1:00 pm on a Saturday or Sunday, we may charge an additional $75 fee. We encourage our clients to book their party start times either 11:00 am or earlier, or 2:00 pm and later to avoid the extra fee.
What is the best age for the Ultimate Race Car party? Boys and 99.9% of girls who are ages 3 - 7 enjoy the Ultimate Race Car party experience. However, if your child is only 1 or 2 years old, we don't mind doing parties for them as long as the MAJORITY of the party children guests are OLDER. What does a staffed Ultimate Race Car party include?

We hired Mike for a race car party for our 7 year old son and his friends in our backyard. It was a total blast and we are excited to book another party for our soon to be 3 year old too.
Mike was super easy to work with from answering questions, booking, setup, and the party itself. He brought 4 stations, a super fast oval track, a loopy race car track, and two ramps. The kids loved all of them. They ended up playing happily for an hour and a half before we switched to cupcakes. Mike was super helpful with all the kids so us parents could just relax.

Mike was very responsive and communicated with us clearly and quickly. When it turned out the insurance certificate needed to be reissued in order to bring our permit in-line, he was quick to act and get the job done, cutting through bureaucracy expediently. As someone who needed a result quickly with a party set for the following day, I appreciated that he stepped up and got it done. Can there be any greater praise than saying that you have found a professional who is a responsible problem-solver to team up with?

Play Party set-up 4 tracks for my son's 6th birthday party in our local park. Their worker arrived on time, set up everything smoothly, and was great at helping the kids use the tracks and cars.
The kids swamped the tracks for 75 mins of Hot Wheels play, and the parents enjoyed watching. The kids were playing so much that most of them didn't even stop to eat lunch.
We had more then 20 kids, so I added their twenty foot drag race track ($25 extra charge).
This was much more interactive than a bounce house. I would highly recommend Play Party for a Hot Wheels party.

One of the best kids parties I've been to. The hot wheels tracks are insanely cool, even for the adults. My son turned four and had such a great day. He's still talking about how much fun he had. Mike was so attentive and just as excited to race the cars as the kids were! His company is very easy to deal with, they showed up right on time, and even took a group picture for us. If your kid is even slightly into hot wheels or race cars at all, do yourself a huge favor and have Mike some set up the coolest party on your block.

The bday party was a total hit! My son loves race cars & legos and what an awesome way to celebrate his 5 year bday by combining both of the things he loves. First of all, Mike (the owner) was really easy to deal with. The party was set up so that there were different race car tracks (lego tracks, loop the loop tracks, and oval race tracks) for all the kids to play with. The setup also included the cars & legos for the kids to race. The service also includes a dedicated assistant (or what I'd like to call free babysitting during the party - lol) to help the kids with the races. They

This was a massive hit for my sons 3rd birthday party! He loved it and was so in the zone playing with the tracks. All the kids we're really into it. It was great because it was an ongoing activity that entertained the kids so the parents could chat. It was definitely was a dream come true for my car obsessed son! I would highly recommend to anybody! The set up is easy and they made it age-appropriate for our party. I attached a bunch of photos. Definitely check them out. At school parents keep telling me how much their children enjoyed our party. Playparty.net definitely made a lasting impression

We had a Hot Wheels themed party for our son's 5th birthday. Mike was great to work with from start to finish. We had 30 kids, and they were thoroughly entertained (as were the parents) for an hour with the tracks. The attendant was super friendly and did a great job playing with the kids. I would definitely recommend adding the gravity track, as it was a huge hit. We were very happy with our Play Party race car party. Thank you!

We just had my son's birthday party and because he was a big fan of Lego and he was very specific of the theme party, I was trying to find something fun and different for this event. Searching a bit the net, I found the play party people and thought to give them a try. Mike, the owner, was really, really helpful and very easy to talk to.
We opted for the 4 lego stations and boy, we were so right to choose those. My son and his friends had a blast, choosing between the lego city, the lego football field, the lego race car, it was something for everyone to do.

My son just had a race car party this past weekend and it was amazing!!! The kids all loved it and played at the different car stations for hours. The facilitator did a wonderful job of keep the cars on the tracks and he was great with the kids. All of the parents were very impressed with how engaged the kids were and that they weren't running around. In fact, no one used the jumpy house until the car stations were gone. They even provided little race car (for a fee) party favors when the party was over. I've done 11 parties for my sons and this was the best yet!

We just celebrated my son's 4th birthday and the race car party was a huge success! I love that the little girls get just as excited about it as the boys! We have used play party for several parties now since we have two boys, and have always been very pleased. The staff is courteous and great with the kids. By the end of the party they know everyone's name. I highly recommend Play Party!

This was such a great fun party! Mike was very helpful with information and tips about party favors, number of tables needed, and so forth. He is very experienced and knowledgeable and he responded to all my questions and calls in a timely matter. Not like some other vendors that are a no show or take forever to call you back. Very reliable person to make the party as stress free and fun as possible. Definitely would call him up again!

Literally the BEST lego party ever! We had Mike come out for my son's 5th birthday party and the kids just had a blast! Mike was professional and accommodating when we asked for some extra time b/c the kids just kept playing and playing! We highly recommend Play Party and will definitely use again -perhaps for the race car party next year! Thank you so much again Mike for making my son's birthday party extra special and memorable!
