Reliable Fire Protection specializes in the installation, maintenance and inspection of kitchen fire suppression systems. For over 30 years we have focused on providing the food service industry with expert service and superior knowledge. Our focus on kitchen systems sets us apart from our competitors in the industry.
Unlike many of our competitors who only service kitchen suppression systems, we also install kitchen systems. Kitchen systems are pre-engineered to work in very specific ways. If cooking equipment is changed, a repipe or upgrade may be required. If not done correctly, it can prevent the system from functioning properly in the event of a fire.
Food service fire suppression systems are our specialty. We install 100's of new Ansul kitchen systems every year and perform 1000's of inspections. As the only Ansul Double Diamond Distributor in New York and New Jersey, we are the largest Ansul R-102 distributor in our service area.

The Ansul R-102 Restaurant Fire Suppression System is an automatic, pre-engineered, wet chemical, cartridge operated fire suppression system designed to protect commercial exhaust hoods, ducts and cooking equipment.The system is housed in an aesthetically appealing stainless steel enclosure. It is listed with Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. and meets the requirement of UL 300.
From system design, quoting and permits through installation and testing, our installation department works with our customers to ensure all projects are completed as seamlessly as possible. We work with contractors, restaurant equipment dealers, hood manufacturers, plumbers, electricians and the end users in a coordinated effort to bring our projects to a successful and timely completion.
Kitchen suppression systems are required to be inspected every 6 months. This preventative maintenance is necessary to make sure that the system is operational and that all cooking hazards are properly protected. Provides fire safety guidelines to ensure the wet chemical system will perform as intended for commercial cooking operations.
