Julie has always believed that anything can be turned into a DIY project with a little creativity and elbow grease. She loves sharing this spirit with others through her wood sign workshops. What started as a neighborhood holiday party making wood signs in her basement in December of 2014, quickly turned into successful business model in March of 2015 when the first Studio opened in Hartland, Wisconsin.
Woodworking techniques combined with the latest trends and custom graphics is what created the DIY Board & Brush Creative Studio concept. Our DIY wood sign workshops started as a "Girl's Night Out" with wine and crafts in our founder's basement and quickly turned into a business idea. What started out as one studio in Wisconsin has now grown to 264 locations across the U.S.-and we are adding new studios every month!

Amazing staff, fun atmosphere, and a one of a kind piece of art for your home! I have brought two groups of friends for a ladies night and I will definitely be back for more! The workshop and staff were extremely helpful and made to fit every skill level in the room. Now we will always remember how much fun we had when we look at our masterpiece in our new home.

After much begging, i finally conceded to going to Board n Brush with a family member that had been asking me repeatedly to go - for two years! I had zero interest in this whole concept. But open your mind to new experiences! THIS WAS A BLAST! You pre choose your design when you sign up for your night (and prepay as well) and once you arrive, your designed board is waiting for you. With all the tools and paints and stains and waxes you need to create a gorgeous item that will last and last. Drinks are available (ahem, adult drinks), and music videos play overhead. The comradery is contagious. This
