Before Bassel, I had a negligent and unresponsive lawyer. This led to me being in a desperately poor position with a custody modification. Despite obstacles, Bassel took the case and did a lot of extra work off-the-clock. He was honest and direct about his expectations and how to proceed. He had to work against extreme bias, but he did so with class and did his best.
Bassel responded to calls and texts within hours—I was amazed by his responsiveness after my first experience. Bassel shared both what he thought AND what we could expect. This was a painful, frustrating and emotional time in my

Do not trust them! All they want is your money, the other reviews are not fake and are very true. I firmly believe they do not care about their clients. They just submit paper work and call it good. I know three people whom have been lied to and taken advantage of that have been denied or sent back to their country. Oh and they lack communication and also “forget to submit paperwork”

I had them look into a K-1 visa that I did. They were post to do agree quest for information. Instead they filed and I-290 and submitted paperwork that was not complete therefore my $2000 plus another $2000 for The adjustment of status which is the I-485 for a K-1 visa and a K-2. Next I asked him for a digital copy of my paperwork they charge me $10 and it has been 11 days and I have still not received anything. If I can give negative stars I would.

Very bad experience with this lawyer , waiting time of almost two hours (that is disrespectful for the time of the clients), they did not take care of my case, I am almost begging them to put attention on my case, I made a phone appointment with their assistant and she never answer the phone, after that I try to contact to her five times in two weeks and she never answered me, my case should be take an average of one and a half years and this took more than two years and it is not over yet. His assistants are not serious, if they say they are going to contact you to assist you with your case they

I want to Thank Attorney Lauren Schmoke for always taking the time to hear our concerns in regards to my fathers case. She came through and thanks to her and all her staff our family was not separated. It was like a roller coaster experience where we did not see a positive outcome, but she was always reassuring us and telling us what we needed to do on our part to win this case. So Thank You Lauren for all that you did for us.

Hello! My husband and I have been a customer with Kasaby and Nicholls for a few years now and its been nothing but amazing working with him and his team! As soon as we came in Rosina greeted us with a warm smile and made sure we felt welcomed. Another amazing member of his team was Nei, she answered any and every question we had and made sure we had all the information we needed. Kasaby saved my family so much money and it was all completely hassle free! Would highly recommend him to anyone!

3 guys i worked with went from work Visa and court dates to deported waiting on this fool to complete and submit paperwork.
One guy he continued the court date 3 times because the dates did not fit his schedule. In the process the guys work visa expired and was deported and Kasaby did nothing to correct the matter. Another guy his papers have been filled out incorrectly 3 times by Kasaby and each time Kasaby makes him pay again.
These prey on immigrants and take every penny from them they can and promise the world and deliver deportation.
Court date for my friend continued again by this "lawyer

The fact that it takes so long to get an appointment with Mr. Kasaby is one thing. The fact that we get an appointment and get there on time only to be waiting for more than an hour and have the secretary try to tell the waiting clients to leave and not say our opinions out loud is outraged. Then defend the fact that mr Kasaby doesn’t take into consideration the other clients time and gives certain clients hours of consultation is in my opinion insensitive and rude. Mr. Kasaby when we first came to you you assured us it would be 6-12, it’s been almost 4 years. We come to you looking for reassurance

I would encourage anyone searching for an attorney in the Omaha area to contact Kasaby & Nicholls. They have handled several issues on our behalf, including working with us when we lived out of state but had a case in NE. Paul Forney, the attorney at the firm who handled our most recent situation, was outstanding! Prompt, responsive in communications, forceful but professional, extremely competent - and he was able to push a resolution that avoided a lengthy, expensive court process. Truly worked in our best interests. An outstanding firm.

My husband and I have worked with Kasaby & Nicholls over the past three years. In the beginning I had contacted several lawyers, none of which said that they could help. We were told the case was hopeless. I even had one prominant lawyer tell me it would cost $20,000 and he could not win the case, and then he hung up on me.
From the moment I talked to Kasaby he was honest and upfront about the cost, the length of time, and what I needed to provide to help win the case.
As we live four hours from Omaha we were discouraged several times, but Bassel El Kasaby and Paul Forney always reassured us
