For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. After 35 wonderful years as a pastor, I retired from church ministry. About the same time, my dad was finding it difficult to continue his hobby as a woodworker due to a terminal lung disease (pulmonary fibrosis).

Dad and I worked together on his final creation, a beautiful cane rack to feature the 40 canes I had collected through the years. When we had completed the final coat of finish, dad turned to me and said, "The shop is now yours, son." He peacefully passed away a few months later. But he left behind his laughter and joy for life, many beautiful woodworking projects, and his training.
Services
Almost all the items that I make are totally novel, one of a kind creations. That makes them wonderful gifts to give to others. Your gift won't be another plant manufactured knock off. It will be something that is uniquely from you - something that brings joy or fun, when they use it. I provide many choices: wood handled or beautiful acrylic, short scoop or long scoop, small grip or wide?
Display your stoppers for appreciation, beauty, humor, or to say something about who you are. Bottle stoppers used to be simply for preserving the contents of half empty bottles. But today's artisans have advanced the craft and there are stoppers being made that are true works of art. There are also a very wide range of materials from acrylics to exotic wood species to hybrids of wood & resin.
Amplify your sound without electricity! The regular speaker on a cell phone is often inadequate --especially when playing music. There are certain situations where headphones are not convenient to use and you don't want the worry of another electric cord or an outlet to plug it in. Passive wood amplifiers can surprisingly increase the volume, the direction, and even the depth of your sound.
Canes were my first love in woodworking. My love affair began with a theater production that needed canes as props. My father and I went to work creating unique individual canes for three of the performers. Canes took on a new meaning when my knee was injured. For a year of my life, a cane was the only thing that made walking bearable.
