The only way to find out if you qualify for a Power Chair or Scooter is to call us today at 1.877.210.9222 to discuss your mobility issues and insurance coverage. The Mobility You Need Could Cost You Little to Nothing. If your limited mobility is the result of a qualifying medical condition and prevents you from accomplishing basic day-to-day tasks independently in your home, Medicare could cover 80% of the cost of your power chair or scooter.
Priority 1 travels to the many parts of Kentucky, as well as parts of Northern Tennessee. If you need repairs on your Power Chair or other mobility device, we can do it. As a reminder, Insurance including Medicare, Medicaid, and Private Insurance DOES NOT pay for Travel Time OR Pick-up/Delivery. Please find below our policy and fee schedule for all Repairs or Service Calls.
Priority 1 Medical Equipment offers a wide variety of Compression garments to fit your specific needs. In order to provide you with the most accurate fit, we take measurements depending on what garment you are interested in. What is the Purpose of Compression Garments? Compression garments exert more pressure in order to reduce the diameter of the veins in question.
Q: Is the power chair or scooter covered by my insurance? A: If you qualify, Medicare may cover up to 80% of the cost of your power chair. Your supplemental insurance may pay the remaining 20%. In most cases, our customers pay little to nothing for their power chairs. This also depends on the type of policy you have and whether or not we are listed as providers for this insurance company.

My husband’s wheelchair that he was renting from them broke and the woman there proceeded to scold him for sitting down too hard in it
If his legs worked well enough to sit easy he wouldn’t need a wheelchair. When he ask her if she wanted us to go somewhere else she told him she didn’t care and went on to scold him again for being too hard on her chair. It’s hard enough to be confined to a wheelchair without people like her treating him like that. As soon as I find a different place to get his chair she can have hers back and we will never do business there again

Priority 1 Medical Store in Bowling Green Ky is the worse business I have ever dealt with. People extremely rude. Bought a $1100 lift chair for my wife in early October. She passed away on October 28th. Sharon refused to take it back. Offered to buy it back from me for $200. I will use MedEguip from now on.

Ordered a forearm walker for my 88 year old grandmother who weighs 124 lbs because her regular walker was giving her wrist issues. It tipped over with her on the first day and landed on top of her. They ordered what I later discovered was a bariatric size walker instead of the junior size needed for her size. The walker also did not look like the one we were shown when we ordered it. Despite all these issues, they would not even allow us to return it.

They delivered a bed to my house for my aunt and damaged my wall and said nothing about doing it and when i called the store to report it, because our family heard them hit the wall. The men lied about hitting the wall to the store. I would advice future customers that these people cant be trusted .If they can lie about damaging your house, there's no telling what else they will lie about or be deceitful about. I dont recommend this company to no one .
