It was a cold day in Toledo, Christmas decorations adorned houses and the area seemed a little more cheery that day. But first, how did we get here?
My sister-in-law passed away and my wife was left as the executrix of the estate. Being 7+ hours away left us with a lot of apprehension and uncertainty for the sale of her home. We had a recommendation to contact Tony Bassett of Danberry Realtors. After discussions with Tony and a home remodeler, we felt that going to auction was a viable plan for us. My first experience with an Auction service, and I couldn't be happier. Jack and his son Greg met with me at the property and immediately saw the potential that I had frankly missed. I signed the papers and they did the rest.
Jack promptly responded to a few questions I had leading up to the sale. The event was well attended, and it seemed that Jack was familiar with many of the participants. I was quite surprised (and pleased) when the winning bid was well over what I had expected.

I contacted Amlin Auctions for a charity event a few months ago. Even though I'm sure their calendar was full, they took the time to honor our request. It was a huge success. I have worked closely with the fine people of Amlin Auction since the ‘90’s. In that time I have seen them contact hundreds (or thousands) of property and content auctions. They are excellent at explaining the auction process to sellers and buyers.
What is so very impressive is all that they do for the community. Each year they do dozens of charity auctions and NEVER charge a fee for their services. In doing so, they have helped raise thousands and THOUSANDS of dollars for regional charities.

The company I work for hired Amlin to auction our storage units. After we set the date for auction I was told they would call me for help with details needed for auction. I repeatedly called and was told for over 4 weeks that the auctioneer would return my call but he never did. I have never encountered such horrible customer service in the 30 years I’ve been in the service industry. Shy away from this company if you actually want to have an auction. I had to give them one star just to post a review but they really deserve a boo and a thumbs down. Shame on you Greg Zielinski and your horrible
