My name is Felicia Lunsford and I am the founder of Attentive Transitions. We are a family owned and operated business that treats each client as if they are part of our family. Starting out working in senior home health and long term care facilities, each of us have a love for our elders and take pride in assisting them in any way possible.
At 19 years old, I decided to leave the nursing field and start a Full Service Moving Company. With over a decade in the moving industry, we have assisted over 5000 families and businesses make smooth transitions. Working my way up, I became Chairman of the Legal Committee, for the North Carolina Movers Association and a consumer rights advocate.

We pride ourselves on helping seniors and their families to make a difficult transition with ease and peace of mind, from start to finish. After the consultation we will diligently work with you to establish a moving plan and timeline that meets all of your needs. Creating a floor plan for your new home is essential in order to create a familiar and functional space. This allows you to choose the items that will fit in the new space and where you want them to be placed.

We recently moved from Asheville NC to Miami FL. I had many concerns about this move. My wife is severely disabled and requires around the clock care. The house that we moved from needed to be staged and attractive to potential buyers. The apartment we were moving into was only one third the size of the house. We needed to sort through all our belongings to see what items should come with us to Miami and what items needed to be thrown out or taken to Goodwill. On top of everything else, I am a painter who owes 62 painted canvases that would have to be moved. Many of which were 4’ by 6’ in size
