I regularly assess a full range of issues from "Is my child gifted?" to "How do I help my child cope with their problems?" My assessments are regularly used by parents, schools, attorneys, and pediatricians to precisely determine where the involved adults should be investing their time and resources.

I am a Tucson-based counselor, with over 15 years of experience counseling people from all ages, circumstances, and walks of life. My counseling approach is to first and foremost, make sure that I develop a powerful grasp of exactly where a person is at the point in time they come into my office. Dr Brunner is not only a kind, and caring man to work with, he also knows his job inside and out! We had been fighting a battle with Social Security for over 10 years and until we got help with Doctor Brunner we could not win. He went through our son's long records and found the proof that our son IS mentally ill. The records were so messed up that only someone with the knowledge to understand what they actually said could help. Winning the case and Doctor Brunner's Care gave our son back his dignity. He finally feels validated and now has a chance to work on gaining a feeling of self- worth and

Dr. Brunner did an incredible job with helping my teenage son. He was extremely thorough in his evaluation and saw what other mental healthcare professionals did not care to look close enough to see. He was 100% committed to helping us in an unconventional and difficult emergency situation, and I can't imagine any other psychologist would have been willing to help us as much as Dr. Brunner did (we tried many!), and my family will be forever grateful. My son is doing so much better because of the mental health help we were able to get him based on Dr. Brunner's evaluation.

When our son started struggling in school, we sought help from a number of sources including school counselors, therapists, psychologists, and sports psychologists. None of them were able to pinpoint the problem. Then we found Tom Brunner. He took the time and applied the resources necessary to correctly diagnose out son's ADHD and get him help. Kudos to Dr. Brunner and his caring associate , Denice. We were up against the wall, and they helped turn that wall into a doorway that lead to possibilities.

I have mixed feelings about my experience with Dr. Brunner: On one hand I found him to be knowledgeable, resourceful, and highly competent in his field and that is why I hired him and paid him more than $4,000. But I found myself frustrated with several of his office policies, including scheduling and billing procedures. Also, each and every consultation started and ended significantly late, which caused hardship for me and my family.

Dr. Brunner is one of the best minds Tucson has to offer when it comes to seeing and treating patients as whole persons. An incredibly empathetic
and competent mental health professional, I would describe him as an ethical perfectionist that only takes steps and makes recommendations first and foremost with the well-being of the people and families he serves. Dr. Brunner has consistently been someone that we can rely on when it comes to seeking out professional help. I think in today's day and age we sometimes miss out on the value of a professional that is very knowledgeable and capable when so many people are just internet diagnosing using Google and WebMD. He's always taken a very thoughtful approach and what we've got back has always been specific, detailed and thorough. He definitely knows his stuff and I wouldn't recommend anyone else for what Dr. Brunner does.

Dr. Brunner is an insightful forensic psychologist who is meticulous in his attention to the details of the issue at hand. He was involved at the end of my six-year child custody battle. He did an amazing job assisting the court in sorting through the facts and fictions in our custody case. I can tell you through my experience he seems somewhat cold-blooded in nature, however, he is extremely professional, organized, and is dedicated to doing the job right.
