Had a technician come Friday to work on my entire system. He says everything is good, after he left, my RO water system would not dispense water anymore. It despented water before he arrived. I thought maybe it needed to fill up. The following day still no water, I called their office 4 times, 2 different departments and could not get ahold of anyone. Automated system says someone will be right with you, but that is definitely not the case.

We actually haven’t purchased the system yet. I feel like more information should’ve been given and taken down at booking the introduction for this service. We just bought a house and are financially thinned out because of the recent house purchase. Had this introduction been given to use a few months- 6 months after settling in we probably would’ve been signing up same day. I say this information in hopes of things changing when booking these as I am eager to get to a position that we can afford this system as Robert Van Es did an excellent job showing us the state of our water and the importance

Our Lifetime Solutions service tech "Rayvon" was wonderful. He contacted us to let us know when to expect him and then he arrived at the appointed time then immediately set to work returning our RainSoft system to its optimum operating condition. I can only hope that he will always be our RainSoft service tech.

Definitely felt like a scam. Submitted our water sample through Home Depot Home Services and received a call that our levels were high and they needed to send a technician out to test our levels, and lucky us! There was a tech available THAT NIGHT at 8:30pm. Thought it was going to be fast, so said OK.

The tech (Raymond, I think) arrived and proceeded to start setting up in our kitchen, but needed to borrow supplies from us (towels, cups, etc.). Weird, but ok..

He proceeded to show us how terrible our water was and how amazing his filtered water was. Good performance. We told him halfway through

Did a Home Depot water test and the results revealed hard water and very high TDS. Then they wanted to sell me a Rain Soft system which I already have that is producing these results. They contact Lifetime Solutions and my water tests perfect. They have no explanation why our skin is dry, water spots on the shower doors, or calcium buildup on faucets.

Then they change the reverse osmosis filters. Now my drinking water is dirty. They expect me to sit around for 5 days before they can look at my system. Black and white junk coming out of my drinking water faucet.

You would think they would like

Everything was fine. Service person was very nice and informative. It was a very short visit for the $150 service charge. Then I found out that I didn't need to have my filters changed so often. Evidently the office should ask how many people live in the home to determine whether or not filters need to be changed. But they don't; wonder why (not). Then, after paying $503, he left. Only later did I find he'd left the spent filters in my kitchen sink.

My system is about 10 years old. Still running for your excellent service.The technician that came and serviced my system, Chad Rodriquez, was very professional and helpful. He explained every step of what he was doing and the reason for it. He also had a friendly demeanor to him. It was a very pleasant experience. He checked the system and knew immediately it was defected gallon counter and replaced right away. My original service needed was also taken care of. Thanks for your excellent service Almost forgot the price range us reasonable.

I must agree with all these negative reviews I'm extremely upset with this company. I had someone from home depot come to my home and he put on a great presentation for the soft-water system. The first time they came out they sent two technicians who didn't know what they were doing one was suppose to be in training and he looked as if he just rolled out of bed three weeks later the salt ran out in the system they came back and said they needed to upgrade the system they sent back two different technicians who started digging in my yard after being at my home all they i was told they

Still unamused. They called me to come out for annual service and scheduled it (noting that just coming here would be $149). Scheduled the date

Then they called days later and said could I do it earlier because they had someone in the area - great - told me it would be between 10 an 11.

Guy calls me that day and says he will be here around 3.
I tell him I was expecting him earlier and I had an appointment at 3.

He tells me "they" should have explained that he would just be calling me

I had my soft water and reverse osmosis installed when I first purchased the house in Southern California that was over eight years ago. They recommended me to sign up for monthly maintenance. I gave my bank account information so they can automatically deduct the fees from my checking account. There are many times that no service guy shows up and they continue to deduct the fees from my checking account.
In 2019, I sold my house. I called them to let them know that the house was sold and requested them to cancel the services and making sure that they removed my bank information and stop billing

The serviceman was friendly on time efficient . He replaced the filters of our alkaline water and said he is all finished but when we started drinking from our alkaline water after he left. The water tasted very bad. Tasted like rotten. We let it run, wasting about 3 gallons of water but it still tastes rotten though it doesn't have any odor. Called back office and said I need to empty the container under our sink and let it run for an hour fill it up then run again. The rotten taste is diminishing so I had to run and waste more water to get rid of the rotten taste. I had no issues with the

Just wanted to take a minute to thank Ray our water softener tech for coming out today and being patient with all of my questions. He explained very thoroughly and In Terms I could understand. I was skeptical at first paying for annual maintenance, but he was able to identify an issue and fix it. We are now on our way to feel the soft water again. I wanted to give a great review for one of their installers, Randy. Randy helped me find a leak that I originally thought was from the initial installation of the water softener at my home. The leak was actually coming from the main water line. He assisted in helping me find a temporary solution until I was able to get a plumber to fix the issue the following day. Thank you Randy!!!

I used lifetime's monthly maintenance program after installing the water system. In January 2018...that's right, 2018, I called and cancelled the monthly maintenance bc I didn't feel it was worth it. The person on the phone said that's fine and then just today, over 2 years later they sent me a bill charging me every month from February 2018 until now. I hadn't heard from them since I called in 2018. Completely irresponsible and frustrating to deal with. They'll bill you 2 years after you cancel.

Please don't buy. The service is horrible. And when they sell they just tell you what you want to hear but not the truth. Is you really want a water system you can get them a lot cheaper cause other people sell them online for a reason. They have an APP to show you when the salt is low but it doesn't work. And nobody that knows how to fix it. The water is burning hot because they are too lazy to put the pipes underground. So now the water has to run for ever until I get cold water. Too complicated to put a line to my fridge so no filtered ice or water to the fridge. People think twice

The customer service is lacking big time. My water softener system was installed on 6/8. The tech was supposed to bring out my soap that day - he didn't. He told me it would be shipped on 6/10. On 6/17, I still don't have my supplies. When I called, Desirae claimed it would arrive in "the next couple of days". When I asked for a tracking number, she claimed one would not be available until tomorrow. One of my questions is, how do you know it will arrive in the "next couple of days" but you have no tracking number? Disappointing to say the least. To be continued...

SO LIFETIME SOLUTIONS CALLED TUESDAY (5/21) TO TELL ME THAT MY FILTERS ARE IN AND THEY WERE SCHEDULED TO COME TO MY HOUSE YESTERDAY TO INSTALL THEM. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP AND NEVER CALLED TO CANCEL!

UPDATE:
I contacted RainSoft directly and shortly after Lifetime Solutions called me and set up a complimentary second year service visit. The tech Jim was an experienced tech who was polite, friendly and quick, and definitely tried to make up for the previous negative experience. Most importantly, he actually showed up and was on-time for his window! Fingers crossed next year we get Jim or have a similar experience!

Hector T. At Lifetime Solutions was very helpful in updating out water softener system. We have a RainSoft treatment system for our house. Lifetime solutions comes out every three or four months to change the filters and do basic upkeep. Hector went out of his way to work with my schedule and played phone tag with me to make sure we got the system serviced. I love bring able to shower and do my dishes with soft water. My hair and skin are smooth and my dishes and showers have no hard water spots. I'm pleased.

Wanted to provide an update to my review. I was contacted to try and "fix" my issues, but I already ordered a replacement system after the people in the service department decided I wasn't worth the time, and just wanted more of my money.

I did an inspection on my equipment, and am pretty shocked at what I found. It looks like the guy who did my last maintenance (less than 2 months ago) did not do a proper maintenance... I found TONS of bacteria on several of my cartridges, as well as, within the lids of my system! No wonder why we've been getting sick for the last couple months
