Services
Moles are pigmented brown or black spots on the skin that may be present at birth or develop from aging or sun damage. While usually harmless, it is important to monitor moles for any changes. Depending on the depth and location of the mole, as well as the patient's skin type and overall health, mole removal may involve laser or pulsed light therapy, microdermabrasion.
Dr. Molly Warthan specializes in Mohs micrographic skin cancer surgery. She has published extensively in peer-reviewed dermatology journals and also participated in numerous FDA clinical trials. In particular, she participated in those involving BOTOX, psoriasis medications, and acne medications. Dr. Lynn Warthan is a board-certified Dermatologist and has been in private practice in Nacogdoches for 40 years.
Fraxel laser treatments are performed in a doctor's office and, in most cases, only topical anesthesia is needed. Treatments usually take between 20 and 30 minutes. The Candela V Beam Pulsed Dye Laser is and advanced procedure that uses lasers to treat redness and discoloration caused by facial veins, rosacea, or other conditions. Brown spots and freckles often appear on the skin as a result of long-term exposure to the ultraviolet rays of the sun. These spots most commonly appear on the face, hands and arms, and can add years to your appearance, resulting in premature aging and skin cancer in some cases.
JUVEDERM(R) Ultra and Ultra Plus injectable gels are U.S. Food and Drug Administration-approved dermal fillers that, according to their manufacturer, Allergan, Inc., are designed to "temporarily treat moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds such as nasolabial folds" in people older than 21. JUVEDERM Ultra is used on moderate wrinkles and folds, whereas the thicker Ultra Plus is used on deeper ones.

If I could leave a negative star I would. This place butchered my daughters back. What was initially described as a simple removal turned into a scar the size of a quarter and still having issues! No follow up or direction. Now my teenager is scarred for life and will not trust another derma because of this. We went to see a “seasoned” derma and that was not who we got! Beware young people!

Dr Mandy Warthan, I hope I got her name right, is an excellent Dr, I'm sure. I just wish she would place more attention to what she is doing during procedures instead of talking to her assistant about graduation, marriage, somebody's buying a house or having children etc. In other words, just pay a little more attention to me, the patient. I'm not real happy about how a procedure turned out. I did everything I was supposed to do post procedure but in my opinion, it isn't healing quite right. During my last visit, while getting ready to perform a procedure, she asked how the previous procedure was

Even though crowded they got me in very quick and were very nice and friendly. They took the time to determine my needs and address my concerns. They made me feel like i was the only one there, which I wasn't. The PA was very nice and attentive to an old man and worked hard to make me feel comfortable. The nurse came promptly to determine my concerns and was very professional. Overall a very good visit.

Experience was great. Nice waiting room but I hardly had to wait at all. It was not over air conditioned which I love because I usually freeze at doctor’s offices. They were very clear about pricing and told me what I would be charged if I chose treatment in addition to the exam. The PA (sorry I don’t remember her name) was very professional, friendly, and thorough. She also didn’t shame me for being in the sun a lot. I’ll be back.

I have been going to Dr. Warthan since before Dr. Molly was born! Love that she has followed in her Dad's footsteps. I always have a wonderful experience there because I feel like they have my best interest at heart and take good care of me. Love my precious Carissa...she is great with my skinpen treatments. Love their open house events. I simply always have pleasant, uplifting visits.
