Typical bad reputation phone repair company. Went in to get my iPhone 12 mini screen repaired. I explained to the repair guy that I dropped the phone in water and the screen started bugging out so I shut it off and dried it out. I made it very clear that I was only interested in paying for the screen to be replaced because that alone was $270 and the phone only cost me $400 new. The repair guy understood this and he agreed that if the issues required anything more than a screen replacement he would get in touch with me and tell me the price and get my approval before doing any more work to the

Shady characters. I was helping an international student get their pc fixed for college, they diagnosed it wrong, charged 240$ to install OS (way overpriced) & then it still didn't work. Brought it back, they wouldn't fix it or refund the money they had, in my opinion, stolen. Charged for a service that never took place. Terrible customer service. I will NEVER recommend or give business to you guys.

Big mistake coming here. My laptop crashed and I was told "no problem, easy fix". So he reinstalled the operation system and saved the data on my desktop. Cost: $450! What's worse is that the thing was completely screwed up when I got it back. No way was I going to let them touch it again, so I brought it to another local guy and he fixed all the things that Maine Geeks messed up, charging around $89. Live and learn.

Walked into the store at 5pm on a Wednesday and had a dead lightning port replaced on my iPhone 8 Plus. The woman who did the work was very pleasant and got the work done in under an hour. Work was completed well, the new part functions as expected and all in all very happy. Their lobby is very comfortable and features a nice salt water fish tank to look at while you wait. All in all, I walked away very happy with the work performed at a very reasonable price. I would recommend them to anyone no questions asked.

I was getting ready to leave bangor after shopping when I dropped My iPhone and smashed the screen. I had to leave town within the hour but I stopped by to see what it would cost to replace next time in town. The worker was extremely pleasant and said he could have it down within the hour and at a great rate. Worst experience ever. I brought my Macbook in because the drive in it crashed. The tech, Angelo, told me this was because I hadn't updated my OS recently and the apps I'd downloaded weren't compatible with that version. Said I needed to replace the drive. Okay, no prob...I bought a new drive at Best Buy and brought it to him to install, which he charged me $30 to do. He also charged me $240 for "OS installation and configuration". Former "General Manager" (in quotes because he only pays minimum wage and for most of my time it was under the table, and only stopped paying under the table because the labor board caught up with him) of Maine Geeks here. Be very cautious bringing your equipment here. He charges EVERYBODY for a proximity sensor on their iPhones even though he reuses the old. Will also try to sell you a battery or other internal component telling you the old one is bad but its not. As far as computers, that is the worst, ANYTHING software related he claims the operating system screwed up and charges

I love foing into buisinesses when needing thier servicea annd rating them accourdingly. I managed to dropp my beloved phone in the puddle today. Very bad for the charging port. Brought it into Maine geeks thinking all my money was going to be gone. Well Ken was great took my phone dried it out and made sure all was fixed. He replaced my charging port for cheep. I was so impressed by the service and the prices I took pictures. My phone only took a couple of hours to fix. Amazing. So happy. Thanks Guys

I had two broken IPhones: one of them screen was completely shattered and would not even turn on, the second one the screen was cracked but also the home button was broken. After doing some research I found Maine Geeks to have the best reviews as well as best prices. I took them in and was pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere and well as the staff. I was greeted promptly and with a smile. I explained what I wanted and I was given a price and time frame for the repair. I would recommend Maine Geeks to anyone. The price was better than I could find anywhere else and the time frame was shorter

Went to the repair shop at Bangor Mall and had a guy repair my phone with their supposedly high quality screens ($110 vs $80). When I got my phone back I could immediately tell that it was a low quality screen from the dull colors and how dark the display was. The home button was even protruding out of my phone. I went back to complain and the guy tried to tell me I had a better screen than when I came in which I knew was the opposite of the truth. When I asked if he could make it right the guy lost his temper.
I came here to replace the hideous screen I got at the mall and had a great experience

Customer service at its best. I tried Apple store, geek squad and batteries plus before Maine geeks. The other three said the phone screen was in repairable due to chassis being bent. Maine geeks fixed the screen without issue. They even finished ahead of their predicted time. Will be coming back for future phone or computer repairs.

My LG G3 screen broke and i took it to Maine Geeks for repair. They didn't have the right one so they ordered it and I payed 113 $ at that moment. The service, 30$, was after they fix it. A few days later they called me and I went to get my phone. The moment they gave it back to me i checked it and I saw a little crack in the top, next to the camera, not even in the screen.
