Safety Note: Direct ventilation from your printer is required to print our Flame Retardant ABS. We highly recommend venting outside or via HEPA and carbon filtration. Never let Flame Retardant filament cool in your printer nozzle. Always remove the filament while nozzle is still hot and purge with standard ABS after printing.
PLA (Polylactic Acid) is a biodegradable, eco-friendly plastic, known for its ease of use and low warpage quality. PLA Prime is our high performance PLA 3D printing filament. It is made from Natureworks Ingeo 3D850 and shows improved heat resistance, more toughness, good adhesion and less warping or curling than traditional PLA.
CoexFlex thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) filaments are manufactured from the highest quality versatile copolyesters developed by DuPont and BASF. Our CoexFlex filaments combine the flexibility of rubber with the strength and processibility of thermoplastics.

I purchased four rolls of natural filament from Coex and expected an opaque cream like color to the filament. The image along with the Pantone color code made me believe this is what I would expect to receive. But to my surprise I ended up with a filament that was translucent with a cream tint to it.
I worked with Todd the director of Sales to come up with a feasible solution to this issue as my customer did not want a clear/translucent color for what I would be printing for them. I was able to exchange three of the four rolls without a re-stocking fee along with purchase one roll as I had opened

I got the feeling that this was mostly an internet-based business, however the staff on-site (including those actually making filament) were very helpful and receptive. On my first visit I was offered a tour of the manufacturing facility, which I gladly accepted (1.75mm means EXACTLY 1.75mm by the way, no tolerance issues - I saw the QC system in operation :). On my second visit they asked for my opinion on some stuff they were working on, and if there was any way to improve. They really care! I purchased some clear PETG to gauge the quality of the filament they produce, and check the attached

I discovered Coex through a google search and was able to stop by personally to pick up a few samples and was given a tour of the facility. Staff was very friendly and Bob was very informative and knowledgeable about their products.
After testing my samples, I can definitely say that their 3d Filament has been the absolute BEST that I have ever tried! PLA prints smoothly with no issues what so ever. I also had the chance to try ABS for the first time because of Coex. I've been skeptical about trying it before in the past after hearing about common issues that occur, but I have not had any of those

I have been using exclusively Coex3d filaments for the past 3 to 4 years (ABS and PLA). Great colors, accurate printing and a fair price for the quality IMO. And they offer $5 flat rate shipping thru Fedex! My experience with the company itself has been great, I'm sure I'm not their biggest customer (2-3 rolls a month) but they still sent me a hand written note one time with my order to thank me for being a repeat customer. I like the product so much I wish they would make some exotic filament especially CF since that's the only filament I have to source somewhere else...

Very professional and awesome staff. Luckily for me, this group is local, so I can show up right where they make the filament. The customer service is always amazing and the product is some of the best filament I have used. I would definitely recommend this company to any person who is into 3D printing.

Very friendly staff and great customer service! The first time I stopped at the facility to buy some filament they gave me a tour and showed me how it is made, which I really enjoyed! Their filament is very high quality and I really like the results of my prints. They have a great selection and this is the only place I buy filament from now. I would highly recommend it!
