Services
Mid Iowa Chiropractic offers the most effective, efficient treatment in Iowa for back pain, sciatica, neck pain, knee or shoulder issues, and many types of headaches. Dr. Pray is versed in the latest research, and provides the best care possible to get you back to your best as quickly as possible. No two chiropractors will practice exactly the same way, and you have many options for chiropractic care.
There are as many causes of low back pain as there are corn fields in Iowa, and many of them are structural in their nature. In cases where the source of the pain is muscular or skeletal it is recommended that patients seek the least invasive procedures first (including chiropractic care) before seeking more aggressive procedures like surgery or injections.
Your neck is expected to do a lot for you in almost all of your everyday activities. You can look over either shoulder, you can look straight up, straight down, and even touch your ear to your shoulder. These movements can put an excessive strain on the muscles, joints, ligaments and tendons in your neck making us vulnerable to neck pain.
The constant stress and strain we put on our upper backs and shoulders makes us all susceptible to injuries as well as chronic aches and pains. Often prolonged sitting, poor posture and daily stress can lead to chronic burning and aching in our shoulders and upper backs. Pushing, pulling and lifting during household chores and exercise can cause injuries which can interfere with your daily life.

Obviously knowledgeable; very thorough; gentle; compassionate; provided me ample time to explain the issues I was having; communicated in words I could understand; followed through with an email that showed me what exercises would help me at home and illustrations on how to do them; and surprisingly affordable, even without insurance coverage. I am super excited to be working with Dr. Pray.

I have received personalized care from Dr. Pray. He has taken the time to thoroughly listen to my individual needs and takes the time to provide me with some great results. I would highly recommend Dr. Pray if you need chiropractic care. Average office visit time is around 15 minutes, but he will take more time if needed!

I love Dr. Greg Pray. He is a fantastic chiropractor. First off, he doesn't overbook himself so you rarely have to wait for your appointment because he is wearing up with the 1 person (not 5) ahead of you when you walk in the door. Secondly, he takes the whole 15 minutes you are scheduled for to really evaluate your problem spots and treat them each time you are in. Thirdly, there is no pressure with Dr. Pray. He doesn't sell you on a huge year long plan that you have to pay for upfront and he takes several insurances. He is evidence based which means that you should be seeing results after a few
