Here at Appliance Service Company my grandparents started this company in 1969 and began a long lifetime of qualityservice to Wilmington, NC and the surrounding area for all of your appliance repair needs. My mother and father then took the reigns in the mid 80's and although my father has retired (somewhat), my mother is still going strong working in the office.

They said I needed a costly repair-$400-I hired them to do it. They used a torch on the basket and burned my carpet-they destroyed the basket because it warped from the torch-they didn't tell me they couldn't fix it-they rushed out and said they would call . They called a week later saying it was broken because it was old. They left my washer torn apart-pieces and parts everywhere-I knew they wouldn't come back the way they left a huge mess of pieces and parts. They also borrowed my vice grips--and left with them. They Burned my carpet, destroyed my washer, took my tool and now I have to go to

The technician who came out was very friendly and helpful. he gave us a quote for fixing the dishwasher, which was a lot of money and he didn’t recommend it. he did recommend the best kind of dishwasher to get and things to look for. he also showed me how to get the dirty water out of the bottom of the machine while we wait to get a new one.

Our not quite 3 yo samsung fridge was not keeping temperature, forming ice inside and puddles of water. after a month of attempting to deal with samsung customer service i called appliance service. it took a bit to get an appointment but wow am i happy i waited! excellent service. problem solved quickly and for under $200 our fridge is working perfect. very knowledgeable technician Chad.

VERY unprofessional. I've had 3 different service men try to install the same part on 2 different occasions and they all couldn't get the part to a Thermador range installed properly. I visited the shop today and spoke to the owner and was literally yelled at for not being satisfied. I have never seen the owner of a business react in such a rude and unprofessional manner. I will have to take this company to court because $700+ has already been spent and I still don't have what I've paid for.

These guys are fantastic! I have a rental house in Wilmington and they took care of my stove for me from a distance. They kept in great touch and communicated with me regarding the estimate, parts order, and final bill. It could not have been smoother.
