My experience at the Miami Lighthouse has been the best! First I would like to thank Corrina for making me feel so welcomed and at home. Then I would like to thank the best instructor at the lighthouse who is Jin Choi because of his professionalism and dedication to clients. He has by far made this the best experience I have had at the light house. I would also like to thank Karima, Reinaldo, and Fionna for always being there to guide me and help me everything when I was in need. Thank all of you guys so much for everything you have done for me (:

This is the absolute worst place I have ever been to. I took my baby 6 months ago. They showed me the place. Everyone seemed nice at the time. Took them months to come evaluate him. Its been a month he was to begin therapy at home. The very first time the therapist called out then after that she never called again or ever came again after saying she would come Thursday’s at 9am. Now they leave me a voicemail saying come for a fun class at the center. The nerve!!!!

It is so hard now a days to find a place with excellent customer service, the Miami lighthouse has an amazing group of individual willing to go above and beyond to help each and everyone that walks in through their doors. I met with John and Priscila at the Solution store and they were able to help me and my grandmother find a device that helped her read better. We are so appreciative of the patience they had with us and the hard work they put in to make sure she found what she was looking for. Thank you so much! Highly recommend this location to anyone looking for anything in the low vision market

The Miami Lighthouse Leaning Center has been a blessing for our family. My daughter started at 16 months old and since day one we felt it was the right decision. The teachers are loving and caring and the whole staff is always there for us. She is enrolled in the toddler class and we plan on keeping Adriana there as long as possible. This is a great school for all kids, visually impaired or not.

My experience as an employee at the Miami Lighthouse for the Blind has been extraordinary and I feel in my heart that I must share with others what a wonderful place the Lighthouse is. In 1990 I visited the Lighthouse out of curiosity and I fell in love with the place instantly it impacted me so much that I decided to apply for a job and within two weeks I was working as an Instructor in the Educational Services Department. I strongly believed in the mission of the Lighthouse it always did what it was meant to do rehabilitate the blind and visually impaired. I learned at the Lighthouse to give

The Miami Lighthouse for the Blind is celebrating 85 years of hope, confidence and independence. I have had the honor and the privilege of being in contact with them for over 12 years. I can say without hesitation that the Miami Lighthouse for the Blind has been an example of service, dedication and commitment for our community. I have seen for years the way in which they have helped thousands of blind and visually impaired people in our community to receive vision rehabilitation, eye health services, education and training to make them more independent and have a better future.
