Please call us at 276-621-4511 or email us at beagleridge@gmail.com for current information. Our fall hours have begun. We are open Saturdays 10-5 and Sunday's 1-5 or by appointment. It is humbling to realize we are completing our 20th season. It seems like a blur but here we are, 20 years older, but hopefully wiser and with so many new friends who have shared their love of Herbs, Lavender and Butterflies with us on our journey.

If you would have told me in 2001 when we opened, that we would have grown to be the business I see before me I would have been skeptical. Gregg, Katherine and I can not thank you enough for all the support all these many years. We look forward to an even bigger 21st season in 2022. Lots of new additions so stay tuned.
Services
Nestled in a valley of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Beagle Ridge Herb Farm awaits you. Nature is the watchword at Beagle Ridge. Prior to becoming our dream come true our 210 acre property was part of a 2,000 acre hunting preserve. It's pristine beauty is what nurtures us daily and we would like to share it's bounty with you.
We are also the home to the Flying Flowers Butterfly House, Lick Mountain Excursions, and the Serendipity Event Center and the Beagle Ridge product line. Flying Flowers Butterfly House- home to up to 8 species of native butterflies. Butterflies fly Mid May to Mid Sept. and we have Monarchs and Painted Ladies in the house.
We are taking reservations for Lick Mountain Excursions http://www.lickmountainexcursions.com year round, just shoot us an email and we will see what we have available. The winter is a wonderful time to see nature up close. Here is Taz, your vehicle for our tours. It seats six including the driver and will provide a great vantage as we ride over our 4 miles of trails from the wetland to the rocky outcropping at Buzzards Roost.
Beagle Ridge Environmental Education Center, housed at the farm, is the Premiere Outdoor Classroom in the Blue Ridge. We have been a chapter site for the Beagle Ridge Master Naturalist Chapter, inactive at the moment but trying to get folks interested in a training, and provide programs for adults and children about a wide variety of natural history subjects.
If you would like a full listing of educational programming please contact Ellen at beagleridge@gmail.com. We also can tailor programming to your needs, both in school and for on-site visits. All scheduled programs include a pre-visit activity and post-visit activity guide. In line with the efforts of Virginia Save Our Streams, this program will teach students how to collect and categorize benthic organisms to determine the health of a stream.
