Unlike other physicians who specialize in treating one particular organ or disease, your family physician is uniquely trained to care for you as a whole person, regardless of your age or sex. In addition to diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, your family physician provides routine health screenings and counseling on lifestyle changes in an effort to prevent illnesses before they develop.
In your initial pain consultation visit, you will learn about the development of a pain treatment plan. Although the goals and expectations will depend on the type of pain, certain underlying principles of treatment are broadly applicable. The various treatment methods are reviewed in the context of the management of the various types of pain.

Trigger points are areas in muscle that are very irritable, show a band of tightness in the area of muscle itself, and, when pressed, produce a twitch within the affected muscle. A trigger point may produce not only pain in the affected muscle, but in a distant area, including locations in the head and neck, called referred pain.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value
Hmm beware of this place they expect you to work off the clock and they don't give enough training and expect you to just know everything within 2 weeks.

I was in training for two weeks and it was very rushed and pushed on you all at once, was very overwhelming and stressful. If we had any questions it seemed as if that was an annoyance. Seemed training was a one and done. I was unable to take accurate notes due to the trainer (Diana) going too fast to comprehend anything. We were required to work a lot off the clock and they deduct money from your paycheck if you send a message to the wrong place (don’t think that’s even legal but somehow they get away with it).
No benefits and they expect you to be an expert on everything after hearing it

Do your research! If it sounds too good to be true then it probably is. This place is completely unprofessional, sketchy, and unethical. I applied through a job platform and was contacted right away as I was overqualified for the position I was applying for. Red flags: call came from a number and location that did not match the job posting or site, interview was only conducted once on zoom and with camera capability deactivated, not registered with BBB, little to no info found upon research even though company has been around for 30 years. Can't find legit credentials for any supposed founding

Lots of work, good pay, great coworkers. Heard lots of complaints but mostly from chronic complainers who wanted the easy way out.

Currently working here. Enjoy the freedom working from home and the challenge of doing medical authorizations. Have seen many come and go, and usually they are ICs who cannot do the job or constantly complain. Perfect for me.

I worked for PPS for approximately 1-1/2 years. I was very happy. The work is not easy and it is not for the faint at heart! There is a huge learning curve, but I feel the training was more than adequate. I really liked the team atmosphere. I have read a lot of negative reviews regarding this business, but I never personally experience any of these issues. Precert authorization work was very plentiful, and the instructions were detailed. Pay would have been a bit more, but was able to earn a very good income working from home. Wish I could have stayed on but really needed a job with benefits. Would

I noticed that all of the "positive" reviews were written on or about the same day. I honestly believe those are paid testimonials given by current employees at the request of management. I know better because I worked with this company for a few months and it was a total mess! The pay is not all conducive to what is mentioned in the advertisements. My training coach would always claim in my QA reports that she found errors even when there were none. It just seemed that she was trying to stay in management's good graces and maintaining that perfect image. The call handlers are nothing more than

Unfortunately I have to agree with the other review. Phoenix Practice Solutions or Phoenix Medcom- this company is not legitimate. I had a very bad experience with this company and felt very uneasy working with my license knowing that I may be putting it on the line because of the way they perform their work. It is blatant insurance fraud and I wish that I had realized that before signing on. If you are a hospital/provider, or a potential contractor please be careful. I have heard about investigations and such due to their activity. Aside from that, the work environment is based on favors, talking

Phoenix Medcom and/or Phoenix Practice Solutions is a complete fraud of a company. They obtain Radiology, Cardiology, and Interventional Radiology authorizations for several well known hospitals and facilities and “act” as they are actual employees of those establishments when performing their work. They set “protocols” they require their Indepenent Contractors to use to obtain authorizations which end up being strict rules/information to falsify medical records. If you have actual morals and confront Management or the COO on these protocols, your work will be decreased until you no longer
