I needed parts for a my Honda GX390 engine on my concrete saw. I had a big job lined up and the engine was having trouble staying running..Alan's had all the parts in stock at fair prices similar to those on ebay, etc., and even put the parts on will call so I could get in and out fast. I had trouble identifying the exact engine model, and Abe in the service dept. helped me over the phone to figure it out correctly. Honda has some confusing and vague model numbering systems, but Abe knew how to read them. Walt in the service dept. said the coil was the likely problem, based on my description of

Avoid Alan's at all costs.
I took my echo blower here and was told the engine was bad. It was over $500 to replace. I decided to get a second opinion from 17th lawnmowers and they charged me $25 to fix the blower!
I also took my Honda lawnmower here for a adjustment in the idle. And a spring replacement on the bag flap. They charged me over $110 for a full service, that I did not approve. And didn't even fix the bag flap. I was fine with it until I got the second opinion on my mower.
Go else where. They will screw you

Alan's is the best lawnmower and garden shop in O.C. to get all your landscaping and safety equipment needs in one place. And if they don't carry it, they will go the extra mile to find it so you can pick it up at their shop. The staff is very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Romeo has been very helpful every time we have an order that needs expediting. We recommend Alan's to any Landscaping Professional or just anyone doing gardening at home. They're excellent!

Needing a better blade for my new tree pruner, I came upon Alan's Lawnmower & Garden Center. Great website that displayed landscape tools. I knew I found the right place when Karla greeted me and introduced me to Manny who sold me the Universal Pruner 350 blade and installed it on my pruner. With the new blade, I was able to cut through a 4" ficus limb. I was so impressed with the professional quality of their landscape tools that I made other purchases, and I will return. Many thanks.

They can get whatever parts you need and Jesus in the service department has excellent customer service skills. It would be nice if the sales people inside worked a little faster but I am always coming in at the end of the day. I think I can see customer service inside getting lazy and arrogant or maybe just uninterested in their job
I have yet to find a excellent repair shop but these guy are pretty good especially compared to the other shops
