Founded by Olympic rower, John Strotbeck, Boathouse was born from a single item, the iconic Stevenson Jacket. With its classic comfort and signature "tuck tail, " it was worn for the first time by the USA Olympic Rowing team at the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games, where it became an instant hit.

Boathouse Sports is one of the most difficult and unprofessional companies I have ever worked with. I had customer service representatives tell me details about previous orders that were incorrect leading to orders being placed incorrectly that then needed to be reversed and replaced. These orders then got delayed and then held up in Art. Their art department sent emails before getting approval from the school leading to further delays. Eventually I ended up getting the order and the jackets did look great but unfortunately, there was a problem with one of them and we needed one more in a smaller

I have been ordering with Boathouse Sports for the last five or 6 years, and they are the most consistent apparel company I have ever done business with. I first used Boathouse for the 2013-14 hockey season. I outfitted my entire team with jerseys, socks and shells, and all of my families were pleased with the price they paid. During the season we received numerous compliments from other teams, and my players all were very pleased with the uniforms (specifically the light-weight aspect). We have used Boathouse for several years now. Great overall experience. Our Rep, Andrew, is very professional and easy to contact. Boathouse fulfilled all of our requests promptly and the clothing is great. Prices are a little bit higher than what you may get somewhere else, but it is well worth it because the quality is a lot higher than what you would get at a mom and pop store or elsewhere. I would definitely recommend boathouse for all sports needs.

Boathouse Sports has been a great supplier for the crews I have coached over the past 30 years. The apparel as well as selection has continually improved over time and the service is as good as any other supplier in North America. Personally, I have had special requests within team orders and have always been given that extra personal service I hoped for in a supplier. The prices are competitive with other suppliers and as a club that is a huge issue in what we purchase.

We wanted to compare two of the fabric types Boathouse offers, and they sent us samples of shorts, singlets, and warm ups with the pattern we were considering before we ordered. They worked with us until we got a design we wanted, and if I emailed our rep, I heard back no later than two hours after writing, and typically within minutes. The uniforms and warm ups give our track team, and will give our cross country team, a proud and confident look. Our lacrosse team has used Boathouse Sports for sublimated uniforms for the last 3 years. The quality of their uniforms are superb. They have held up very well. No pilling, no snags. We did experience several challenges getting our custom art right with our last order, but they worked through it with us and delivered a product we were happy with. Even with all the art delays, our order was received on time!

Boathouse was able to provide the Stapleton Jets youth lacrosse program with the best uniforms to-date! We worked very closely with our Boathouse rep (Keith Dauper) to ensure that the shorts, jersey and shooter shirt would all work together. Our kids absolutely loved their jerseys this year! Also, Boathouse continues to refine and perfect our ordering process for our parents.
