For his entire life, Dan Piroutek has made Milesville his home - on the land where his grandfather, Henry Kertzman, had settled in the early 1900s. He graduated from South Dakota State University in 1976, followed by attending Superior Auctioneering school.

With 37 years of auction experience, he has had the opportunity to sell some of the finest ranchland in South Dakota, conduct numerous farm estate & retirement auctions, as well as sell Purebred livestock in six states.Piroutek was named the Black Hills Stock Show Agribusiness person of the year in 2012.
Our neighbors, Gene and Theresa, hired us to do their auction. They had very nice equipment, and another large crowd was on hand with 265 bidder numbers. St. Mary's Altar Society from Milesville served lunch, selling great beef sandwiches and lots of pie. Gene and Theresa re very well-liked in our community, and many local people from Haakon County and western South Dakota were on hand.
From Philip, SD, go 16 miles north on Hwy 73, then 1 mile east on Noack Road. Property lies on both sides of Noack Road. OR From Pierre, SD, go 68 miles west of Pierre on Hwy 34, then 9 miles south on US Hwy 73.
